Press conference at 3-Rosler to be unveiled

20/5/2015

In a move that will surprise no one, Uwe Rosler is set to be named as the new Leeds coach today. The club have announced a press conference at 3 o clock where the former Wigan man is set to be unveiled.

Now, Rosler has had mixed fortunes-very successful at Brentford, but a disaster at Wigan (somehow letting a mid table manager go and replacing him with a relegation one doesn't sit right).

As always, Rosler should get out 100% support-he will certainly have mine-however, it doesn't seem to make a blind bit of difference whether we like him or not, or whether he is a success-Cellino will inevitably get rid when he's having a bad day.

This leads me on to Neil Redfearn-a decent man, a Leeds man through and through, who has been treated appallingly. Cellino hasn't had the decency to tell him he's been released-hasn't thought to tell the fans that he is letting him go, and has, quite frankly, been an embarrassment to our club in the last week or so.

I understand that he's the owner-he can hire and fire who he wants-but there is a way of doing things-a right way of doing things, and Cellino seems incapable of doing it.

For as long as he is in charge, I will never support him. I don't care if he throws money at the club, gets is to the premiership or signs Messi (well maybe if he does that). The man has absolutely no understanding about our great club, and the sooner he leaves the better.

Rosler seems a decent appointment-just don't get attached to him, because Cellino will always know best, and that inevitably means he'll be gone before long..

Cellino-please leave OUR club

Following the circus that was last weeks press conference, and th shocking interview in the M*rror (still hate that paper), there looks to be no end in site to the destruction that Massimo Cellino is wrecking.

His treatment of the likeable Brian McDermott last season was shocking, but he seems to have notched his ego up several levels now. Neil Redfearn, a good man, has been treated with nothing but contempt. Redfearn is a man that 'gets' Leeds United. He is one of us-a fan. He did, when he was allowed, a fantastic job to pull us away from relegation. I'm not suggestion Redders is the best coach/manager in the world-but give the man a chance. When he had his coaching team in place, and a free hand to pick who he wanted, we were flying-surely this man, who has brought through such a fantastic crop of youngsters (and there are plenty of others behind this batch too), should be given a chance?

But no-Cellino, in his bizarre little world, doesn't seem to grasp it-the man is dillusional, and you've genuinely got to be concerned for his mental health judging on this last week.

There are not many genuine people left at our club. Good people like Paul Dews was released a year ago, Matt Child's couldn't work there and left (and was doing some fantastic work in building bridges). Redfearn seems as good as gone, whilst the underrated Lucy Ward will no doubt follow (the work she does with the academy is invaluable).

We are then left with a soulless club-one that really doesn't feel like mine any more. The one tiny ray of hope is Adam Pearson, but I honestly cannot see him lasting long with a loose cannon like Cellino.

The only answer is for Cellino to go-after owners like Risdale, Kranser, Bates and GFH, I honestly think this guy has done the impossible and made me wish for one of those to come back.

Can I spend any more money at our club? Will I attend any games this season? For the first time iny 44 years, I am questioning it. Never been so disillusioned-yet Cellino doesn't seem to care..
