Leeds owner Massimo Cellino has had his appeal over disqualification rejected today.
The football league banned him last month over a fraud case back in Italy. Cellino appealed the decision last week, but has today learned that he has lost the battle.
This means he has to stand down within 2 days, and have no say in the running of the club. He will (in theory) be allowed to resume in March when his conviction will be classed as spent.
What this means for the club is anyone's guess, will he appoint someone short term, or give up and sell the club.
There should be a plan in place as he has known about this for a while-we'll wait and see his next step..
