Andrew Flowers confirmed he was withdrawing from his attempts to take control of the club, citing the emergence of Cellino as a critical factor that has 'crystalised' the minds of GFH.
Together Leeds also released a statement last night, declaring they still had an interest and had the backing but their 'offer of constructive dialogue will remain open' to GFH, indicating little progress in way of discussions.
As things stand, GFH have confirmed they have agreed a sale to Massimo Cellino as per the statement n the Leeds United website on Saturday, a position that does not appear to have changed.
All eyes will once again turn to the Football League who are expected to pass Massimo Cellino under the 'Owners and Directors Test', which should be the final piece in a complicated jigsaw of GFH and their sale of the club.
What happens after that, is anyone's guess.
As this is Leeds United, expect all of this to change within hours!
