Prospective Leeds owner Massimo Cellino has said he is stopping funding the struggling club. The Italian has paid wages and debts for the last 2 months, and is thought to have put in around £10 million. However, clearly tired of the lengthy takeover period, he has said that he won't fund the club anymore until the takeover is complete. If the deal is not completed, he will walk away without a fight.
This could be Cellino calling the FL's and GFH's bluff, but the ramifications of him walking away (and having his £10m returned) is frightening..
Last nights horror show, where Leeds trailed 4-0, before recovering to 4-2 won't have helped his mood..
