Sam Byram missed the Yeovil game last week with a thigh injury, but despite returning the training, McDermott is unlikely to risk the youngster by pushing him straight back into action. In addition, Stephen Warnock picked up an injury in the last game, and with Aidy White completing still out of loan, a start for Danny Pugh or Adam Drury is likely.
At the back, new signing Marius Zaliukas could push for a start depending on what McDermott has seen in training this week and up front, loanee Blackstock could push Matt Smith out of the starting eleven. The centre forward was superb against Birmingham City a couple of games ago but has not been as prominent since.
Charlton meanwhile are unbeaten in five games, despite their lowly position in the table (17th). They secured a 1-0 victory over Birmingham last week, to complete a good run of two victories and three draws since a poor start to the season.
Leeds meanwhile are struggling on the road this season, not picking up any league points since August when they beat Ipswich 2-1, although Charltons home form is hardly impressive.
We predict a 0-0 draw with neither side taking control of the game.
