A massive twist in the Leeds takeover as Mike Farnan of TogetherLeeds has announced that his group are in talks with Massimo Cellino to take over the club.
In a move that no one saw coming, Farnan has released a statement, and talked about it on Radio Leeds. He has said that his group are in positive talks with Cellino to find the best way forward for the football club. He said both groups were very positive about the potential merge, and there were no games been played-the only thing they wanted was to get the club out of the mess and take them forward. He didn't say whether this was dependant on Cellino's appeal bit that all possibilities were being discussed. They haven't discussed with the Football League yet.
After months and months of bad news, this, at last, seems something hugely positive, and leaves us with a potential plan B..
