Leeds are closing in on another loan signing as Brian McDermott tries to have one last push towards the play offs. Saturdays draw at Middlesbrough saw them slip further away, and it really is all or nothing now. Several names have been linked, Adam le Fondre of Reading was, but has played well for mcdermotts old team. Connor Wickham is also a target after a successful spell at Sheff Weds, but Sunderland boss Gus Poyet is struggling in the premiership and is considering throwing back into his team.
Although a creative midfielder is needed, it seems that a striker is the main target to take some of the pressure off leading scorer Ross McCormack.
With Cellino's takeover expected to be ratified this week, some much needed funds could be freed up..
