McCormack hands in transfer request

2/7/2014

skysports are reporting that Ross McCormack has handed in a transfer request. The striker, who last year signed a new 4 year deal, has been the subject of much speculation after staying in the UK, whilst the rest of the squad flew to Italy for pre season training. Fulham were expected to wrap up a £10 million deal, but several other clubs are interested, following the Scots 29 goals last year.

No one expected McCormack to still be at Leeds come the first game, and it now looks like McCormack is thinking the same.

Think we should thank him for signing a 4 year deal - this means a decent price when he moves on. Oh to be back to the days when we could buy good players.

Well, well, well. In all earnest, he was not good when he came to us, he has become a good 2.div player with us and was vital for us last season.

For his own sake, I hope he stays in the championship and get loads of Money. He is NOT a PL player, and will never be. I don't think he ever will be as good as he was last season. Not even close.

Good Luck and good bye, I am not crying!

WE are Leeds

So its happened at last? Mcormack has seen where the club is headed and decided is enough is enough...who can blame the lad? I was looking forward to the new season under new stewardship but having second thoughts now. A 'coach' with a poor track record,,conference rejects to be announced as first signings immintely and our best striker going to a championship rival,,,WHATS GOING ON? CLUB STATEMENT NEEDED NOW!!! replacing a proven prolific championship striker with serie B journeymen with no experience in english football will not be good enough and WILL NOT appease the fans..ACTION NOW..thought all this nonsense was over once GFH and bates were out...apparently not...surely Cellino must have an idea what the fans reactions would be after that long taxi ride!!!.....rant over...MOT

This goes to prove yet again that player loyalty is only something players say to become popular. Lets face it Ross has had one good season and he is looking to cash in. Whatever happened to "I will never ask to leave" he sulked until getting a new deal at the start of the season, tried to leave in the January window and couldn't wait until someone came along with more money. Loyalty my back side. He says it's about McDermot but he was playing McDermot, play me in this position, everyone pass to me and I will shoot at every oportunity and make myself look good, very much like Ronaldo and Portual and as we know, they went home early. We need a team not a star striker who will never score that much again. None of us know how this season is going to go, I am sceptical but it can't get much worse than the last couple of years. Cash in and give him grief when he comes back I say.
