Brisn McDermott spoke to the press after the defeat at home to Charlton, insisting 'I'm not walking away'. McDermott, sounding defiant insisted that he'd never walked away from anything in his life. He accepted that ones the ownership is resolved, they may fire him, but he would stick it out. He said on calls for him to quit that he thought it was unfair after everything he'd had to go through.
He added that players hadn't been paid today as had been promised, and David Haigh had been into the dressing room before the game to explain that they would be paid once the appeal is sorted.
He said he and the players were struggling-really struggling, but they needed to stick together and get through it.
Tough times still at Leeds...
