Leeds boss Brian McDermott spoke after Leeds' shocking performance in their 5-1 defeat to Bolton. Speaking to Radio Leeds McDermott said he didn't fear for his job, but would be working hard to restore some pride. He said there was nothing in the game for 44 minutes, then it all went wrong. He went on that some of the players looked nervous, and that whoever plays on Tuesday would need to put in a shift.
McDermott was at a loss as to what went wrong, and mentioned that he and the players needed to get the fans back on side.
McDermott seemed very much on edge in the interview and despite him saying this he didn't fear for his job, he sounded very much like he was.
It wouldn't surprise me if he didn't last until Tuesday to be honest, but of he does, a win is imperative if he is to survive any longer..
