In a move that will surprise no one, Uwe Rosler is set to be named as the new Leeds coach today. The club have announced a press conference at 3 o clock where the former Wigan man is set to be unveiled.
Now, Rosler has had mixed fortunes-very successful at Brentford, but a disaster at Wigan (somehow letting a mid table manager go and replacing him with a relegation one doesn't sit right).
As always, Rosler should get out 100% support-he will certainly have mine-however, it doesn't seem to make a blind bit of difference whether we like him or not, or whether he is a success-Cellino will inevitably get rid when he's having a bad day.
This leads me on to Neil Redfearn-a decent man, a Leeds man through and through, who has been treated appallingly. Cellino hasn't had the decency to tell him he's been released-hasn't thought to tell the fans that he is letting him go, and has, quite frankly, been an embarrassment to our club in the last week or so.
I understand that he's the owner-he can hire and fire who he wants-but there is a way of doing things-a right way of doing things, and Cellino seems incapable of doing it.
For as long as he is in charge, I will never support him. I don't care if he throws money at the club, gets is to the premiership or signs Messi (well maybe if he does that). The man has absolutely no understanding about our great club, and the sooner he leaves the better.
Rosler seems a decent appointment-just don't get attached to him, because Cellino will always know best, and that inevitably means he'll be gone before long..
