Who's the next lamb to Cellino's slaughter?

1/6/2016

As the inevitable dismissal of Evans was confirmed last night, thoughts turned to who would replace him.  A new name appeared in the frame yesterday as former Swansea boss Garry Monk shot to the top of the favourites list.  He is currently 1/6 with the nearest challenger a distant 14/1 – however, many in the list would have us searching Google to see who the hell they are!
The problem here is that whilst Cellino continues with his hire em and fire em strategy, it doesn’t matter who the head coach/manager is.  There never appears to be a long term plan, as a succession of managers over the last 2 years prove.  How far we have fallen is shown by the managers of clubs turning us down.  The Leeds boss was once one of the top jobs in the country, even the World – now managers would rather stay with Bristol Rovers or MK Dons – and who can blame them.

New manager is likely to be announced this week, but sadly, I can’t get enthusiastic about it.  You know how it will end up – you know that a few bad results would see him sacked (obviously not by Cellino though, as once again, he got the secretary to break the news to Evans rather than do it himself).

As I wrote yesterday, I’ve had enough of Cellino – completely had a gut full.  I’ll be 100% behind the new manager and the team, but can never support the man in charge whilst he continues on the path he is on.  Will he ever change?  Based on his last 20 odd years, I can’t see it – which means whoever the next manager be better checking into a hotel than entering the property market…

There is only one big hindrance in the way of Leeds Utd. That is Massimo Cellino that must be carried out of the Club dead or alive.
