On the OS now. Guess from the media sites the fee is 15million euros or about ยฃ12.9million. 4 year deal
6'0" LB that can play CB & RB. Fast, can carry the ball up the pitch and produces wonderful crosses/deliveries into the box. Also able to adeptly use his right foot too.
Speaks good English, which will help him adapt and become part of the group far quicker.
I suppose you dont get to play 41 games for Barca in 2 seasons if you dont have something. He will also have trained wih some of the best players in the world. Pleased in Champions League and Europa League too.
Fingers crossed he is a revelation like Rafa

That's an outrageous slur Bull.... your punishment for this is to support England tonight!
That's if you or anyone else can be arrssed to read my fkn post in the first place.... ๐๐ฅ๐คฌ๐
I dont think anybody reads your posts TC10

I must say tho i do like your 11 pity no room for Bill or Coops but that 11 looks a team more likely to push into the top 10 than last years starting 11 tbf
As our squad stands NOW I'd line up with the following :
Meslier
Llorente Koch Strukij
Dallas Kalvin Firpo
Raphinha Rodrigo Harrison
Hattrick
That's a great starting X1 and will be even better in a couple of weeks with another couple of signings...
This formation can also be a 5 at the back when defending with Firpo and Dallas slotting back to FBs....
Will never happen though unless Bielsa reads my post....
If Bielsa has given an OK, everything should be fine. Alioski, on his day, was good, but often our whole defense seemed unstable when we were not fielding a natural left back. Now, a no.10, and then bring on 2021/22! MOT.
I would prefer as a backline, Ayling, Llorente, Strujik and Junior. If Koch is to be the cover for Kalvin and or CB, then I'm prepared to sacrifice Cooper to get Strujik into the team. His performances merit inclusion. Cooper will not be dropped of course as the Master is loyal to him.
I think Junior will slot in just fine, if he develops the same understanding with Harrison that Ayling has with Raphinha, we will be a force down high wings.
I would put a sneaky bid in for Daniel James and then I'd be mighty happy with our squad.
I expect our back four to be Ayling, Llorente, Cooper and Junior, with Koch as cover for CB and DCM.
Cheers iceman
Looks to have decent pace, but i would have expected most decent professional footballers would be doing almost all of that stuff shown on the video as part of their job. One two's, play around the corner, give and go, crossing the ball into the danger area, etc., all basic footballing plays that 12 year olds are shown / coached. Not going to make any judgement on the guy but Marcelo wouldn't have signed him if he didn't think he could add to our squad.
Umm lets see how he settles and how fast he gets used to the hard work required by Beilsa. Pace is a skill but using it correctly is something that he will need to get right otherwise he will flop like helder Costa. Good starting left back if settles. Maybe our back 4 will now be:
Ayling(RB), Koch (RCB), Llorente(LCB), Firpo(LB)
