It was bloody brilliant. To be in there was just one of those moments you never forget. Up there in my top 5 ER experiences.
I thought the club handled it really well. Bringing back " We all play for Leeds United" was a masterstroke. I know all the words but not necessarily in the right order.
Hardly anybody left for probably an hour after the final whistle.
It's been a great season with some real highlights, sheff u away and Sunderland at home were the best purely results wise, I enjoyed Watford and Oxford away.
Well done Daniel Farke. ( you should have dropped Meslier much much earlier though, I let you off but don't do it again).
I am jealous - I loved the Preston game for the atmosphere and was well happy to be down at ER after the Stoke game too - but the yellow scarves and the whole occasion looked fab v Bristol
It was a fantastic atmosphere and even though we took our time getting it put to bed one game left
I watched sky's coverage the next day, very good that they showed the full celebration and even went silent for MOT like they do at Anfield EVERY game for YNWA ( a pop song they nicked).
Dallas interview with Farke was great, I thought Farke was going to cry.
It was very Bristol Rovers ish. I was pleasantly surprised nobody went on the pitch as it ruins the celebration.
It was different v Rovers as on the day it looked like we had ballsed it up but came good, total relief.
I went on the pitch that day but only to the corner flag lol, to mark the 20th anniversary of the only other time I'd done it in 89/90 when everyone went hurtling on v Leicester thinking we'd gone up lol. I was only 15 then though in my defence.
A mate went up and said it was quality and like the Bristol Rovers game that I went to.... just gutted I didn't take the boy on the pitch after as was too scared we'd be banned! 🙈
Fair play to Sky who showed the celebrations for 50mins after the game!
On Talksport it's been all about Leeds and how we're going to be champions etc....
Felt a bit sorry as Bumley never got a mention and can still finish, in theory, 3pts ahead of us....I didn't feel that sorry for them though
