During his Bolton days, did he not have Jay Jay Okocha and Djorkaeff. I can kind of remember them playing good football with mix of flair, hoof, tika taka and graft. Am I remembering that time wrong?
So we've come from Marcelo Bielsa to Fat Sam, FFS!. Just when you thought you'd scrapped the barrel, there's always something underneath. Those clowns on the board has completely screwed us over and now we are left with this. I despair.
Terrible memories of Neil Warnock come back.... still, Big Sam is actually a good pick at this late hour where effort and attitude is all that matters. MOT
Okay, the way I see it going. Man city games will be a settler type game Big Sam dictates his requirements. The Newcastle game he aim for a draw if possible but then the final 2 games he pushes for wins.
Robles and Rodrigo reunit with Big Sam after playing underhim during their short Boltan days.
Who in our squad will be his Jay Jay Okocha? Umm closet would be Rutter in style.
Can Bamford be his Kevin Davies? No likely as Bamford is to light weight to play the style.
Be interesting to see if Summerville, Gnonto are used and if so, how?
Personally i think you gotta give someone time to fit in, adjust to the new surroundings, see for oneself what the quality is in the dressing room and then are they suited to your style of play.
Problem here is 49ers don't really care if we go down, probably save a small fortune if we do. Radz is now stuck between a rock and a hard place, he put all of his eggs into the Orta basket and the players he signed hasn't worked, for a multitude of reasons, overpriced, not fit, not up to PL pace, etc, etc.
Radz is now at panic stations he needs LUFC to stay in the PL otherwise the prized PL Club sale will be diluted into a "small takeover" in a second tier club. If i was Radz i would have offered big Sam and the players a £20m "stay up" bonus that way im sure he would get a reaction. 20m is chicken feed compared to the potential loss he is facing if we do go down.
I've always liked Radz tbh, some fans dont give him the credit he deserves, but recently he has tried to run a PL outfit on a championship budget, but with the money that was spent was spent very poorly in my opinion, but Radz did open his wallet and fans must understand everyone has a limit to the depth of that wallet. Its very easy to spend other peoples money, so i think Radz has run out of road, he is probably kicking himself for not having sold the Club last November when we had made a relativity decent start, but look thats water under the bridge and we need to get behind Sam and the new management team and lets see if they can work a miracle.
I dont have the belief, sadly, but i wont knock Sam regardless where LUFC is playing next August the damage has been done long before anyone picked up the phone to him.
I will try to be an optimist for once - I think we have the quality in the squad if they are fired up. I don't think Sam needs more than 2 days to stick a rocket up some backsides and weed out the shysters stealing a wage.
If he does bang heads together you'll see an immediate change. Remember even Gracia got 3 wins in 6 games at the start of his long tenure....
I reckon 3/4 points is enough given the other teams have equally tough run ins.
ive a sneaking suspicion that 35 points will see us safe maybe 34 if City win by one goal. Can we draw at Barcodes & Wet Ham (lost all six in london this season) and beat spuds on the last day?????????
Come on to fork.
We're LEEDS UNITED and we have the only unbeaten English International Manager in our dugout.
I never thought I’d be cheering on a Big Sam led team. For the bitterest pill is hard to swallow.
Have a History type question about Big Sam.

Think you can include Fat Sam amongst that dross.
Think he is a good short term appointment. If he does not get the players fired up and organized no one will.
Has he brought Jersi Jessperlini ( how ever you spell that former boltan keepers name) in to coach Meslier?
I think Big Sam needs to be more like Jesus as he will need to work miracles

Is 100% confirmed?

Can see Harrison fitting Big Sam nicely.

Robbie Keane & Karl Robison join as his back up staff.
He will be a legend if he keeps us up....not holding my breath! ..
Just look at some of the dross we've had since O'Leary.... fkn embarrassing for a club our size.
Suppose we better get behind Big Sam for the 4 games.... good luck
