So easy the other night, almost no peril at all. I thought we played really well and it was the most enjoyable football we have played at home this season. We are so lucky to have 4 brilliant wingers.
I think it's looking good for the rest of the season, champions in waiting. I'm pretty confident we will destroy Blackburn. 9 points in a week.
I don't know anything about the current Blackburn team, why would I be bothered to look?. They are an irrelevance.
2-0 us.
Warmer
No famous person admits to being from there.
Come on Leeds
Finally got to watch the game. Our midfield CM's had no space to move forward into due to our wingers playing way to narrow. They have to be at least 18 yard box wide but play 6 yard box wide which basically stops Tanaka and Rothwell from being able to move up effectively seeing us sites deep. Gnonto should have buried that chance in the 15th minute while our othe winger was invisible. Aarronson look leg heavy and could done with either bench start.
Fkn awful knee high tackle on Firpo though and should have been sent off...
We'd have won this with 30mins to go....as long as we didn't persist with 4 at the back and 2 holding!
We had 70% possession as it was yet again but just can't break down sides and can't keep relying on our flying wingers to be at the top of their game....
We have FOUR wingers but not a no10 ala Pablo.... it's not hindsight as being saying it all season!
Not fkn rocket science and need to pay 5m over the odds for one in January to be promoted....to get 100/200m extra for being in the Prem!
We needed Ampadu yesterday. A leader. Someone who, when we’re not playing well, can inject fight and belief into his team mates. That has not been an issue as long as we have been playing so relatively well. Yesterday something else, leadership, was needed, and Struijk, Rodon, Rothwell, Aaronson nor any of the wingers have it in them.
Well that was crap they had best turn up next weekend down to 3rd
I thought we might struggle today.
Not a professional or clinical performance at all!
But (dare I say it), a rather typical and a kind of expected laboured Leeds away performance.
Not taking our chances wasn't the only problem, we gave several away too.
We need to do much better in getting/scraping results away from home, one can't expect or just hope that the Blunts & Burnley would lose in these kind of games.
All a bit too tentative and lacking in conviction.
Tanaka not himself today (soft pen. but silly foul anyway), Aaronson looking a lost boy (should have taken him off at HT. Bogle back to making stupid.
If we want to go up we can't come away from Blackburn, Millwall empty handed.
No need to panic but we should be aware that we're by no means the finished article.
Some fans & players alike seem to be thinking that this team would hold his own in the Premiership. Back to reality and once again need to keep our feet firmly on the ground.
I can see this being 1-1
It's a 1.30 KO Soopa. Does that change your prediction.
Does anyone else have to get verification codes and "which photos are the cars in" etc? Did a crap reply to this crap MDT and disappeared....how lucky are you lot!?
Quality MDT Lord Freezingtits and good luck for a prolonged run....
I'd bring in Gnonto instead of Aaronson and play James and play Rothwell further forward as well as we have more than enough to beat a Smodiczsless Blackbum...
2-1 us with Bogle and Byram notching....if we had a PROPER goalscorer we'd have won the league by now with Piroe and Joseph very able cover
Now this game is a banana skin for us.
Blackburn beat a rampant Boro last night. They do have a couple of strikers out for Saturday but they have some good footballers.
Away trip at 12:00 could be tricky - would accept a draw TBH, although I fancy the Friday game (Blunts/Black Cats) will end up as a draw so this is our chance to pull clear. Here's hoping.
