For the away game my last train back is at 19.18 the match will finish at 18.20 ish. Do you think we will be able to make it back to King's x in time.
I've not been to spurs for years, what is it like nowadays after leaving the stadium. What is the quickest way back, it looks confusing on TFL .
Any words of wisdom appreciated, are there any taxis near the ground that will bob us back to King's x.
This is in the hope that I get a ticket tomorrow.
I would let you stay at my place but when you look like a cross between Lurch from The Adams Family and every single photofit on Crimewatch, you'd be scaring my village....
Yes Lord Breezynipples, I can see a train from King's Cross at 8pm and one at 2202 and take 3.5hrs back to Leeds.... your transport predictions are as bad as your weather forecasts.
What about the official Leeds coach's travelling down?
Good spot that Steve, could actually get off in donny at 12.30 and get a taxi from there, good back up plan, I've booked the other one now though, I got a match ticket.
A train leaving kings cross @2202 to gilbersdyke long journey
You have to book them by the hour though
I am going to book that train and leave the match a bit early to give us a better chance if we miss it then hey ho that's life I know of some relatively cheap dives near King's x that I've stayed in before.
Might not get a ticket yet anyway, my computer is on a go slow so I'm down to 2 devices to try on now. Going to be popular this one.
Peterborough to Stevenage then Finsbury Park then white heart lane
Have you looked at ah Hull trains to Peterborough then thamslink to Finsbury Park ?
Cheers for the advice lads. I feel a bit in turmoil now. If bloody SKY had kept the Sunday games at 1600 then it would have been fine.
Might drive to a train station somewhere that we can park up at and then get a train back to there but then what about having a beer.
I might not get lucky with a ticket yet anyway. I have been lucky up to now though 100% on the 50/50 thing, someone else must be unlucky lol.
Ps. Can somebody pick me up and take me to the King's x,
Hope you get a ticket Lord Drizzlydick but you will be cutting it very fine to get the last train back from London....
The game will finish at nearer 1830 and then it takes ages to get out of the ground.... I haven't been to the new Spuds ground but London traffic will be at a standstill on a Sunday evening. Tubes will be quicker but you will be tighter than a gnats chuff for time....
I could give you the names of a couple of establishments I used to frequent and stay before a 'misunderstanding' after money had only been partially exchanged.... please don't use my name though.
M'Lud thats a very long winded way of saying
Lads can someone meet me after the spurs game and bring me for a few pints before my train drops me home
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Oh mate, you are cutting it fine!! My advice would be to leave the games after 60 minutes! I cannot see how you can stay to the end and make it to Kings Cross in 58 minutes. The best time you can do it on a non match day is about 40-50mins. On a match day you may need to stay in London for the night if you want to stay til the end of the game.
