Sorry LUID, I have waited for you to start this by the RL season starts tomorrow!
So for lovers of the oval ball:
Leeds hooker Kruise Leeming has signed a three-year contract extension that will keep him at Headingley until at least the end of the 2024 season
New signings Zane Tetevano, King Vuniyayawa and Kyle Eastmond should feature tomorrow night.
Mikolaj Oledzki is the one to watch in 2021.
There is hope we can finish this year top 4.
The return of a London team BB you can see Leeds rugby
Just sad to see RB. What a player. A reminder that life can change in an instant.
BB--I really enjoyed the game and more so as i had $20 on Leeds to win 13+------nice little sock drawer filler-🤗

More great news for the Rhinos as the Women's team down the League Leaders York in the Women's Grand Final. 12- 4.
Under the cosh for lots of the game, but great defensive display - hope the men's side take note - the same will be needed from them next weekend.
Remember folks - in the 21st century the team who have won the title most at Old Trafford are the Leeds Rhinos.
Who would have thought indeed 😁
Looking like Saints in the Grand Final - they are beating Salford at the moment.
Again, we're underdogs but Saints won't fancy us.
So it is Wigan away next. Cannot see us winning
and so a band of English warriors went to France. They knew in battle they'd be up against the might of the French and they would have to fight their way past them on the road to glory.
Agincourt 1415
Catalans 10 - 20 Leeds Rhinos
I thought we were away at Catalans on Friday BB?
Saints next in the play offs. Cannot see a win here
Still a better season than I could have hoped for at the start
I share your decision BB
I'll be playing it on mute on TV while I listen to BBC Radio Leeds
Is there another 5th place charge on the cards??
24-18 win for Rhinos v Wolves.
How the F..K did GH keep Agar in the job for so long when it was clear he only had one man up the jumper running as his style of play?
Up to 5th now!!
Sorry to see Harry Newman out for the season, still being 6th at this stage is great from where we were. Does clash with the U21 game though
Bring on Wolves this Friday!
Matt Prior, Aidan Sezer and Rhyse Martin back from suspension
Bentley back after injury
Rhinos are still without skipper Kruise Leeming (foot), James Donaldson (knee), Harry Newman (hamstring), Bodene Thompson (ribs), Max Simpson (ankle) and David Fusitu’a (suspension).
definitely finding their feet under the new coach - I prefer the style of play too BB.
Young guns coming through, much better
And so the messiah comes to town. We hope
Leeds one point of the bottom, despite the proudest history, the best stadium, the most fans......
We sign a 40 year old Aussie Rohan Smith for his first foray into a Superleague hotseat, albeit from famous stock - nephew of Tony Smith no less!
Let's see how this pans out.
16-40 loss to Cas - things not looking good at the moment
There's some really promising players at Leeds - the new axis of Sezer and Austin is very powerful - the local lads like Walker, Newman, Gannon are all very exciting and we know the kicking qualities of Martin.
Add to that the experience of your Handleys, Myler, Dwyer, Leeming, Prior, Thompson etc etc and we should be doing better.
The Warrington loss was due to having 12 men, but we deserved to lose to the Pie Eaters and Catalans. Wakefield was a much better first 40 mins display, but you're right BB, they fell away badly at the end.
New season is on us. I know Conrad has gone but he spent more time injured than playing.
This season Leeds have added half-backs Aidan Sezer and Blake Austin, Tonga international David Fusitu'a and former St Helens second row James Bentley.
Can we actually challenge?
I thought I'd get out of my smug chair and re-post what I said in March:
"With Agar I still think we'll be a nothing more than an occasional treat. We'll flatter on occasion but finish 5th"
It's all coming to pass. Wigan last night were utterly dreadful, and have been for the latter half of the season, which would explain the lack of interest from their fans. Having said that I would have expected more to turn up if only to say goodbye to so many leavers.
Superleague has been dwindling away for years. The result didn't even make the headlines on SKY sports news, who instead led with the Ryder Cup, the Women's cricket and then Celtic's game v Raith.
Leeds have done all they can from their regular season performances, and you can only beat what's in front of you, but they'll get well beaten in the semi, whoever they play.
Tonight a clear blue ray of light in all the mediocrity.
The pie eaters get nilled in their own stadium for the very first time in Superleague. Wigan 0-14 Leeds
hope springs eternal, we can scrape a top 6 place still.
And the challenges just keep coming. Australia and New Zealand now decided they can't come over for the World Cup. We now have a shambles of a domestic game who can point the finger and say "we told you so" whilst the opportunity for a new audience disappears.
You couldn't make it up!!
League being determined by win points percentage actually encourages clubs not to fulfil fixtures, get around the rules and avoid any points deduction.
Hull are 4th and Hull KR are 6th if they don't play again this season they could finish higher.
Agree Soopa, covid seems to have killed interest in the game and Sky will have noted that.
It will be challenging times
And so the sad and sorry descent of Rugby league into the netherworld continues.
A world cup staggering towards us with COVID everywhere - and a result we all already know of course - Australia win vs New Zealand (outside bet England) in the final.
A Superleague where some teams call off games because they haven't got a team, others do it because they would rather take a 24 point loss than risk injuries in a congested fixture list.
Even the paymasters of SKY are disowning them now - no adverts, no news headlines.....wait for the devastation of a reduced TV deal next time round.
Absolute farce.
We are in danger of climbing to 5th this season if we keep going like this!
Great win by Rhinos last night v Warrington. We dominated first half. Front row superb again and Prior fully deserved his MOM.
Now if we can just get some of our key players back!
I respect Sir Kev for moving on, but it is a shame. Sounds like a royal punch up last weekend - 6 players got suspensions for their actions!!
I now see Salford have a 2 game postponement for COVID too.....
I must admit the signing of Bentley is a promising signature - grand final winner last season, Leeds fan and the right age. For once I approve of a signing....
Wigan have given up their first right to Williams. GH needs to have some balls and bring in top players instead of just relying on young guys coming through. We wont get another group like Sinfield, Burrows, Maguire, JJB, Bailey et al in the next decade or so. Need some superstars to stop us just being a side that survives and turn us into a side that challenges.
I know we have not played for a while but this is yet another season where the only aim is to stay in the Super League.
It would also help if he got rid of Agar and appointed someone who knew what he was doing.
I agree BB, but we all know Williams will end up back at Wigan - they have ambition and also his affection.
Amazing to see the same team that got bullied and beaten by Hull go on the shatter Cas like that! At least we now look lower mid table rather than 11th.
Get George Williams! Pay the fee and the wages. Sometimes you need superstars to rebuild. He is only 26. Its like when Peacock came in, the belief in the side just grew as they had a true leader and great player for others to look up to.
Rhinos should never be mid to bottom table fodder. We deserve better.
We are Leeds! 5th really not good enough. Youngsters doing well not really good enough. Agar not good enough!
Time for owners to bring in the right coach and players. We need to be real challengers.
Over the 80 mins we deserved to lose, albeit this was Wigan.
The performance was disciplined and gritty, lots of younger players did well.
I can see that with the better players back fit we can win more than we lose, so although we are W1 L2, I still think we'll be 5th.
Whether or not that's an acceptable ambition for Leeds? I'll let you decide.
With Agar it's as good as we'll get.
Not a good result last night. I get we have injuries but what has happened over these past few years? Surely we knew the glory boys were going to retire? No real plane to replace them. No leader to replace Peacock, no kicker for 2/3 years to replace King Kev - how many times did we lose games because we could not convert? Sorry but the owners are to blame.
4 match ban for our Zane. 😒
Yes great news about about Leeds Tykes. Now all that is needed is a mutli millionaire philanthropist that pumps many into the club and turns us into the the next Bristol/Exeter. #good news too that Rhinos won too on Saturday.
In brighter news I was massively heartened to see the Leeds Tykes have returned! Yorkshire Carnegie has been shelved, although we're back to West Park as a home ground and League 1 amateur rugby....
With Agar I still think we'll be a nothing more than an occasional treat. We'll flatter on occasion but finish 5th
