Leeds are a special club.
How many other top sides who can't be bothered with the FA Cup still can't get knocked out properly and have to have a second go at humiliation?
Cardiff are looking increasingly like a Premier League side too, having just sacked their manager after 4 months, thereby also trying very hard to make an excuse and lose.
The fear of having to face Boreham Wood in the next round is clearly putting both clubs off making a proper fist of the cup this year.
The first matchup was rubbish for the first 60 mins and we needed the cavalry from the bench to save the day, the same may yet apply in this one, but I do think given the state of Cardiff even our B team should have enough so I am predicting we win in normal time 2-0 (Harrison, Sub)
Expected Team:
Robles
Drameh Llorente Wober Wober
Gyabi Wober
Perkins Twinkie Boy Harrison
Gelhardt
I can't even be arsed to copy/paste the famous fans from the last MDT.
Weather:
I always defer to M'Lud when it comes to weather, but I understand the wind is South Westerly on Wednesday, so it'll blow into the stadium from where the away fans sit.
Don't be surprised then if there's a whiff of damp wool and mutton around ER.
Fun fact about Cardiff:
Despite being the capital of Welshland, only 10% of the population speak Welsh.
The other 90% presumably grunt and use their flint axes to communicate?
We're on BBC1 folks.
£110k in the coffers.
Well what a game 4th round of fa cup wow
Well done Soopa, I can't remember the last time we were as exciting to watch?!
We have some impressive fire power up front now and that's without Rutter on the pitch.
Gnonto is fookin' awesome and a lot of the time, unplayable!
He's going to score bag fulls and with Bamford back AND SCORING, Sinisterra back on the pitch and our new record ££ signing to make his debut, we should become a 'Goal Machine' in the second half of the season!
Just need to get our defence sorted now, however I fear upgrades will be required going forward, as some of what we have simply aren't good enough.
Anyway, here's to lifting the FA Cup Soopa!
Congrats Soopa
Now whats your knowledge of Accrington Stanley / Boreham Wood????? Surely we can feel somewhat excited and believe that we can make it to the 5th round now eventhough the next game is away......
We await your next edition of FA CUP MDT good sir
Great game to watch.
Well Done Soopaman!!!
Attack 10/10
Defence 3/10
There is such a disparity, there was always going to be plenty of goals at either end tonight.
Fantastic to see our attackers running riot, Gnonto specifically is different gravy, brilliant to watch him play.
I really hope Wober is OK for Sunday, we will bloody need him. Could be 5-2 again or 2-5.
I enjoyed tonight, I don't want to be going to a match thinking of the negative side of things, it's suppose to be entertaining and tonight it was.
At the end of the day we've conceded 4, yes FOUR, goals against the Championship lowest scorers!
Don't care if it was individual mistakes as they are part of the team and part of the game!!
Not sure how well Llorente, Wober and Firpo did because they didn't attack us to see how we could DEFEND!!
Yes, Firpo looked better purely because we dictated play with him in loads of space further up the pitch....
We need to see how he can DEFEND.... although I think we already know and now he'll get a stay of execution for another 5 games and fk up when better teams attack him.
Very happy with the way we attacked and we now have Rodrigo, Nutter and hopefully a rejuvenated Hattrick oop top with Gnonto, Sinesterra and Summerville behind as a great option....
I thought Roca looked a lot better tonight but again it was against a crap team....
Don't want to pen a negative post as I thought we were excellent tonight and VERY entertaining.... unfortunately other teams will punish us because of our back line.
We'll easily stay up though....
Fun game to watch up until the 80th minute where we went back to be committed to poor play. Thought Jack Harrison, Willy Gnonto, Max Wober and Tyler Adams were standouts in the first half with Greenwood and Firpo not far behind. Llorente looks different when he had Wober direction beside him. Once Wober went off Llorente returned to calamity styled play.
Hmmm... I might need to research Boreham Wood after all
I don't mind being a bit controversial - but this comment may be a new limit...
I think Firpo has been good tonight.
I fookin' love Willy😀
Jeez we look good going forward.... albeit against a crap Baardiff.
Get Gnonto off to keep him fit and get Sinesterra on at HALF TERM!!
Give Bamford 30mins for Rodrigo and Gyabi 30mins for Adams....
3-0 after 40 mins… Wonderful to be Leeds!
And the mighty Gnonto scores. Go on my son and get your hat trick.
3-1 to The Mighty Whites, Gnonto x 2 & Rodrigo....Cummmmonnnnnnn
Chance to say goodbye properly to klich tonight for those braving the freezing temperatures.
0c ( that doesn't mean there won't be a temperature it will just be zero), no rain. Any residual puddles may be icy come 10pm ish.
4-0 Leeds.
JM has to win this match so doubt any kids will be involved from the start:-
Robles
Rasmus Llorente Pascal Firpo
Adams Wober
Harrison Greenwood Gnonto
Rodrigo
Subs: Iceman, Ayling, Koch, Drameh, Roca, Siniste-Terror, Aaronsen, Bamford, Geldhart
Best of luck Soopa i think we will have enough this time round to see them off and i too think its done and dusted in the 90mins
3-1 us
we are bound to fck up at some stage at the back to let them in.
