Decent performance last night. Another game where you come away feeling like we didn't get what we deserved, but that's happening to us in every aspect of the club at the moment.
WBA should have been down to 10 men, absolutely no question about it. Then the lad that shouldn't be on the field has a massive hand in the goal, which was deflected in off another massive hand.
Ayling gave it his all last night and came up with a huge goal for us. I still find some of his defending to be questionable, but never his commitment.
I thought a fair few of our players had good games. Rutter was anonymous for most of it or he was stood on the left wing. He's not a number 9 so no major criticism of him on that front, but he needs to show more than he has. If Joseph or Bamford are fit, either one of them needs to start as our No9.
Plenty of positives to take away, just feels like footballing gods are still enjoying kicking us in the rocks at the moment.
Not the worst performance I have witnessed. Rutter.......hmmmm, I'm really not sure what to expect. Maybe the current state of the team has him playing out of position or have we purchased another Barn Door Billy!, What is encouraging to me is that if this is how we play when the team are on the ropes as regards squad, then surely the future must be a little bit bright?.
We probably won't get a striker in before the Ipswich game, but something tells me we will win that game.... the 3 teams we have played so far were crap and were basically looking to Nick a goal and then defend for their lives.... Ipswich will not do that, they are playing well... hence the 100% record... They will look to put a few past us and I reckon we will outscore them and our luck will change 👍
A draw, I feel we were somewhat unlucky. But forgetting about the result, I really liked the performance. We played as a team, the passing was good, we backtracked to help the defence, we enjoyed more of the possession, we didn't give up. Shackleton, Ampadu and James took on the mantle of senior players and didn't disappoint. I see more positives than negatives.
Shacks winning loads of balls higher up the pitch when pressing 👏
James doing better than usual but still no end product....
The only dangerous ball they put in from Phillips on the left, and Geldhart was the man at the back putting their attacker off.... 👏Need him further up the pitch though and creating!
Yet another one of those games where we look far better but will no doubt concede a crap goal in WBA first attack and we'll be chasing the fkn game!
Pretty decent first half, we kept possession, passed the ball well, and teamworking was to the fore. Shackleton was really lively and in the middle of everything. And James is putting in a shift, tackling well, making some great passes. Ampadu has marshalled the back line and there's been some good movement from both full backs. Gelhardt is clearly learning from Bamford and tracking back and making decisive clearances. Rutter has been a bit invisible but that's a minor gripe. Just need a goal.
I feel the same when I see that team, that Sunday League half filled bench.
I really think there's some rot at the club right now, the team gave up after Crystal Palace half time last season and it may be Farke is weeding them out one by one, good luck to him - but it's embarrassing and destabilising
Still think that Ayling will be in the side for some leadership, however Farke will need to temper his forays into the opposition half as he clearly cannot get back to cover the full back position, or they find a system whereby someone else fills the gap whilst he wonders up to score a worldy!
I think Ayling is playing high as an instruction and it's the cover behind him that's caught us out.
When he goes higher we look very dangerous, but he can't be everywhere at once - he can certainly play the sitting right back if he's asked to, but that's not his forte.
Well Done Steve.
Sorry I was not about to give Good Wishes and Congrats earlier. It will be the same this weekend v Ipswich so I pray you can lead us to 3 points

Ayling is a winger these days not a right back. Well done for his goal.
It is narrow and congested in the middle.
Gelthardt needs to stay higher up the pitch and stop dropping into centre of midfield.
The most important. IT IS EMBARRASSING THE CRYING OUR PLAYERS DO.
WE WERE ROBBED! Can't blame the ref for everthing but Maloumby should not have even been on the pitch for the goal (3 yellow cards)
For most part we played well - playing Rutter out of position is not working but who can we play there at the moment !
We are very predictable and easy to plan for
Well played Dan James !
With a few signings we will be thereabouts
Hoddle out!
I know Rutter has been injured, but ...... How much did we pay for him? Someone is having a right good laugh somewhere.
That was a poor WBA team who just put 10 behind the ball and we had no idea how to get through them. It's going to be a long, hard season.
Some of the football was good enough.
But despite Joffy best efforts not enough up front.
Things like that may happen when you have to play with an expensive broomstick upfront.
Their goal a blatant handball (still messy defending) and the foul on Joffy a stone cold pen.
James redeemed himself after last week, great goal from Bill!
Gray, gifted and mature. Shacks full of energy.
Liked the CB pairing, even if it's a tuff one for Cresswell to take.
Now it's time for the 149RS to get their finger out of their xss and show us that aggressive attitude regarding transfers.

Great ball by Super Dan James to Captain Ayling who scores.
And Gelhardt nearly makes it two.

Good luck Steve.....2-1 to The Mighty Whites💥🥊⚽️💛💙
I don't have any expectation of anything other than seeing yet more dross tonight.
That said....3-1 Leeds, nutter, nutter and nutter. Come on Leeds
Hopefully something better than the bag of shi'ite so far this season.
Not 2 nil down at half time being an improvement.
