Just watched Pablo and Berra's interview on LUTV and as I still blubbering! They get LUFC and what it means to wear the Famous White Shirt. Swansea is a memory that will live with me until my God calls me. Jermaine's goal v Bristol Rovers or the one v Man Poo. The downs have their UPS!!!
I think the world is so "small" now, a feeder club from Oz wouldn't prove to be sticking point for me.
The plus side, wonderful climate, english speaking the negative for me would be the standard of underage / junior football may not be at the level of European counterparts but with the proper structures and coaching over there that standard would improve and rise pretty quickly.
I wouldn't rule Oz out but realistically a European based club (south of france, spain, portugal, italy) would probably win out all things considered.
I always love reading your posts and respect your views. I had family that lived in Brisbane. It is basically 22 hours travel time.
If LUFC want a feeder club then perhaps France, Spain, Belgium or Holland offer better opportunities. Only 2 hours from the UK or other European countries where players like Berra or Pablo may settle.
Also, I am not sure if Aussie football is of the same standard as the European leagues.
Agree with you that it is important to keep modern icons at the club and involved. We have lost Norman, Jackie, Trevor and Peter. Need replacing to keep Side before Self!
If and i say if Berardi decides to start coaching or managing he will be back at our club very quickly. The same could be said for Hernandez.
This is where we need a true feeder club in a smaller footballing nation. Imagine we had a club in Australia and we send both players there to play a year or two and bring them back in as assistant coaches.
Very emotional yesterday. Our club has made an impression on Pablo and Berardi, and, likewise, they will stay in our memory and hearts forever. Thank you!
Opened a bottle of wine at 12, now on my second and the tears are welling up!
I love Berardi for his commitment and passion for the Famous White Shirt and boy could he play too when given the chance at CB
Pablo's goal v Swansea. Who could forget!! I think my neighbours thought someone in my house was being murdered. Me and My Boy screaming, swearing. Dog incessantly barking and wife totally bemused!
not so WOW!!! then.... 😒
Fake news am told
WOW again!!!

Once a White, always a White!

This just about sums it all up for me:
How good has Pablo been for us since we got him from some Middle East league?
He probably went for a last pay day and didn't expect to play such a big part in England again....
Good luck waiting the tables in the Costa Del Sol....
Berra has certainly been a great servant and 'Side Before Self' sums him up to a tee....
He is also one of the best looking players we've had at Elland Road in a long time so we need to replace him accordingly....
Come on Rads.... give us some eye candy
H
Berardi. 100% effort, 100% of the time.
Pablo. We’d still be in the Championship without him. Awesome at every level. A massive hole to fill.
two heroes
Gutted but we all knew this day would come sooner rather than later.
Pablo will go down (in my book as a leeds legend with Barra not far behind him) and i certainly wont be able to hold back the tears on Sunday.
Wishing both all the very best in whatever direction Pablo & Berardi take i hope success follows them long into the future.
Sad day, both heroes for different reasons.
Pablo's goal v Swansea was the Strachan v Leicester moment.
I witnessed Berardi actually score too, v Salford. He has written a very heartfelt message on twitter about his love for Leeds.
Good luck to them both for the rest of their lives.

2 of the biggest influences on our resurrection.
Berardi was the one who stayed and fought after the mad Massimo debacle
Pablo was the key that unlocked the door to the Premier League
Respect due - neither of these guys owe us anything - other way round and that's not common in football.
They'll be missed that's for sure.
Both played their part in getting us back !
Top top guys!
For ever in our hearts.
Knew it was coming.
Both have contributed to our success over the last few years.
Just love berardi's professionalism, attitude, temperament and his tackle.
Someone will get a very useful defender.
Pablo has probably another season at a decent footballing level.
Someone will get a genius to appreciate.
Good luck to both.
I will miss them both.
