Agree BB games verus inter on the 16th Feb away, then home to Norwich on the 19th and at home again to us on the 23rd.
Klopp cant gamble that city will slip up much more so its going to boil down to his priorities
At this stage i dont think he will have given up on the PL but if he can put trophies into the cabinet in Anfield that's what he will be remembered for, not on how close he was to winning stuff.
The EFL Cup while never a priority in August will be taken very seriously now that liverpool are in the final, likewise and depending on the 1st leg in Italy, this seasons CL is the most important trophy for liverpool (now that the hoodoo of a PL title is put to bed), plus he is still in the FA Cup and the 5th round ties, if they beat baadiff on sunday are set for 2nd March (midweek) so they may have to play 8 games from 16th Feb to 12th March (25 days) in four different competitions, tough ask but hey isn't that the price of success.
It is what it is, no point in worrying about it now. A lot can happen in 3 weeks and Klopp know he has Champions League to worry about too.
Lowly LUFC are not his major concern. His second string with a few kids could beat us. Probably best for him to select a few teenagers for their debuts in this game.
We've got Mancscum on the Sunday, Liverpool on the Wednesday and Spuds on the Saturday and will just get on with it and play youngsters if need be.... wonder if Klopp will moan about the fixture congestion!!? 🤔😜🥊🤬

True lads
But they have the EFL cup final on the Sunday (4 days later) against Chelsea so maybe just maybe Klopp wont be fielding his first xi.
I think any other time would have been more of a disadvantage tbh
Huh. We'd have been just as badly off if we'd hobbled through the original fixture on Boxing Day! Just hope we have 11 fit players by that week
