Gakpo is definitely being teed up just like Aarondsen was - we are also getting Ben Brereton Diaz lined up.... that's our 6 foot no9

No LB needed yet - Struijk has done nothing wrong and we haven't seen Firpo yet either. IF we establish we're still in need after the WC I'm sure we'll look.

I don't think Gapko is any better than what we already have. In fact, Sinisterra and Harrison are far better left wingers.

Don't think Ben Brerton Diaz would add anything either.

I'm happy with the business we have already done and want to see us make that work before embarking on any more transfer raids. I want to see a lot more of Perkins, Gyabi and Ngonto before any more incomings.

On the one hand I agree that Gakpo coming on top of what we have seems overkill, we've just let a £25M winger go on loan... BUT, I am aware Jack is running down his last 2 years and this may be time for a switch - with Jack heading out, Sinisterra becoming first choice LW and Gakpo filling the right.

As for Gnonto and Perkins, I wonder if both are yet more "general forwards", when it's that Bamford cover we miss - in which case Joseph needs a go first.... again, based in IF that doesn't work out then Brereton-Diaz is at least a proper No9.

That does leave an embarrassment of "general forwards" like Rodders/Gelhardt/Perkins/Gnonto - when we play a 4-2-3-1.

Radz jumped the gun for which he deserves to be criticised - bear in mind this isn't a PLC, so the only shareholders are private, so not a fair comparison....

but he thought the deal was done, and with good reason - there's no smoke screen here, he's just a bit of a wally at times....

Radz woukd t write his own tweets, and he would t write then in English. He would have somebody to do that for him. Its very easy to fake a tweet or to fake an account. I’m very suspicious of the language used in that tweet, it doesn‘t read as if it’s written by an Italian. Personally, I don’t believe anything on Twitter unless it’s backed up by an official source or statement.

But Wolves would see us coming (perhaps a bit desperate) and bleed us dry in terms of transferfee.

A bit worried and even more sad with the image we made as a club.

But in truth if some players don't want to join our great club, it's their loss.

Also forgot to mention in response to Smurf, that as he says we certainly don't know all the ins & outs of any transfers.

There are plenty of reasons why deals may fall through.

Family issues, moving to a new country.

Some players may; get cold feet (going to the premiership → in a very difficult league, at a big club with expecting fans), get offered better conditions and maybe even guaranteed a starting place and or position.

Not to mention the role of the player's agent.

However a lot of these things could & should be inquiered about in good time. Not on transfer deadline day.

Dieng behaving like a tw&t should not reflect badly on our club.

Radz has been tricked twice now - he therefore takes the blame for his tweet - he should know better. That reflects badly on our club.

I think we need to show some integrity with both players.

James must be allowed to take the loan if that's what he wants - we owe him that much.

We need to tell Dieng to pop into the Airport toilets and shove his head up his own arse.

Agree Soopaleeds. If James wants to go, we should respect that.

We can't shove him half way out the door and then tell he must stay.

If we sign nobody we've got Summerville and Perkins and maybe even Joseph to be fasttracked.

Hopefully we'll be patient enough with them, even if or when things don't work out.

I think that we are weaker now DJ has gone. He could take the knocks as a No.9 although never really comfortable there.

Greenwood, Perkins, young Joseph will now have to step up unless Radz pulls someone out of a hat!
