I understand there is no buy option. Spuds wanted a silly amount for him in the Summer - we said no so they came back and offered a loan.

We can't afford him (it's a Ben White scenario) unless Spuds change their valuation by a massive margin.

Thank you, Soopa. Indeed, it's starting to look like a Ben White case. We obviously should have paid Brighton what they asked. So far, Rodon does look like one to keep, and we have probably made his price tag go further up by giving him a chance to play.

Totally with you - but if we get promoted it'll be in no small part to him so he's paid us back well - like Ben White did.

Well given he is playing either as a striker or inside forward it is not a surprise he is scoring playing well. Still rusty in some play but getting better by the game.

I would be promoting Drameh, Cresswell, Bate and Gelhardt all into the first team next year - if it was up to me!

I noticed that he has not taken the best weekly earning offer but rather a location which allows him to actually play football. Think he is one of the worse move our club has made with developing talent. When he was 17 and he scored that preseason goal from a free kick in Australia and then did not see any other game time in either the the first team and u21's because he was needed for Bielsa's firstteam trainings basically hindered his development. We had loan offers from League 1 and league 2 clubs for him. It took for him basically walk out for us to agree a loan so he could actually play football.

He could actually play the Roca role equally as well if not better and his set pieces are solid as. Greenwood and him were/ are the 2 best set piece takers at the club.

I read somewhere that his deals had no call backs also we received a little money for each loan.

Bad news for Tyler, looks increasingly like he'll be fighting to keep a career going in the lower leagues.

As Bielsa once said. He has the talent but it his day to day work ethics that need to improve if he is to make use of that talent. Parker said the same at his loan spell at Bournemouth.

I always thought Leif woukd make it, he stood out amongst the younger players as having that extra bit of class. I’m pretty confident he’ll make it to the premiership and do just fine. We’ve a long history of letting good young players leave only to go on and have stellar careers - David Seaman, Denis Irwin etc.

Having said that, he seems to like it at Leeds.

Throw some more experienced players in that mix and we would have fairly good team/squad.

Charlie is doing well down there, just hope he gets plaudits for the defensive side, not just for scoring - we need CB's
