Yellow number 1 was clumsy at best but if you look at where the referee was you see him looking at the back of Rondon and could not see if a push was made or not also added it was on a counter a yellow was always 80% likely for any touch.
Yellow number 2 was a 50- 50 challenge when looking at it from the right hand side but from the referees position on the left he was not able to see Rondon pulling out and therefore it looks like a malicious tackle.
Could be argued to see one of the cards recinded but who know if Leeds will.
We were unlucky with out chances and Rutter should have buried his while smart positioning saw 2 of Summerville's chances being saved.
Cooper should buy a lottery ticket after his mistake was allowed to Squandered (or how I like to call Bamfordised) when they hit the post.
Think we need to have Prrior playing high up the pitch as he is wasted coming deep. He really is a 9 and not a 10.
Dan James is a super sub. 35 minutes of Tasmanian devil type action is when he shines after that he put limiters on himself so that he can last the 90.
Can someone explain why the passing speed is slow. We set up a overload on 1 side and then we try and switch via the backing on for the the passing to be so slow that it negates the space we created in the overload. Both full backs were heavy o their touches and light on their passes in this one.
Meslier gave me the chills with his daring with the ball at his feet today. He had a couple good punches and also a shocking one that he got lucky with. At least he seem to have a little more back.
ArchieG needs a rest. He looked heavy legged today as his body did not keep up with his mind...
Agree with most of that, Daniel. In particular, about Daniel James' impact as a super-sub, rather than a starter, and about Archie Gray needing a rest. MOT
James would probably have more impact if he comes on against tirying defenders. Having said that, in the home game against WBA he ran them ragged the whole 90 mins. Thing is he will never be a prolific player, I'm afraid that Rutter won't be either.
He''s gonna be a player that will score some beauty's and mix those with missing sitters. Feel the less time he has to think the better.
Gray did well in the first half, but all the running and the sheer numbers of games did start to show and led to several mistakes. Kamara should be ready to play for 60odd minutes on Saturday.
Against Watford, with Rodon suspended I would start Cresswell over Coops (like Anthony he looked rusty & off the pace) and drop Ayling with Shacks going at RB allowing Sam to come in at LB.
In the past, we would have lost games like that, so I'll take the point and keep us moving up the table. Not sure if you can appeal a red card on the basis that the first yellow was an absolute joke, but hey ho.
Rutter was a little frustrating to watch at times, worked really hard for the team and definately should have scored, but ( and I can hardly believe I'm saying this) he would do well to train with Bambi on how to retain the ball as a lone striker and take the pressure off the defence.
Cooper was completely ofo
Little Jimmy was good and nearly scored goal of the season.
Highlight of the night for me was that my link had commentary from Hull. The commentator managed to mis-pronounce so many Leeds players names: Meslier became Melissa; Strujik transformed into Strooch and Gnonto ended up as Gernonto!🤣
Just seen a fair few fans moaning a bucket load on Facebook about how we should have won that game.
For what it's worth I thought we were by far the better team until the sending off.
Rutter is clearly fit now, the lad got through a massive amount of closing down. Unlucky with his one on one and really should have scored. I can only assume he saw the keeper moving to his right and tried to put it in the other corner only for o be thwarted by a big toe.
Other than that he seems to be a bit of a focal point up top, ball Played into his feet with others running off looking for a layoff. Somerville was unlucky not to score from one of these.
Sommerville was excellent when he came on. A constant threat and pace that panics the opposition. He was also unlucky not to score in the second half when he hit a deflection from the edge of the box. The ball was beating the keeper all day long only for there to be a well positioned defender for it to bounce off and away to safety.
It was all change after the red card and at that point the best we could hope for was a point and a clean sheet which we got. I didn't honk Rodon deserved a yellow for his first challenge but the second one was a stone bonker.
The positives are we got a point away from home and another clean sheet. We had the better of the chances whilst it was 11v11 and on another day we would have won. If we can keep up the defensive record we will be heading up the table choose what.
My only concern is who fills in for Rodon, Cooper didn't fill me with confidence.
Rutter was involved a lot, regarding the one on one, his touch let him down and he looked unbalanced when he took the shot. Afterwards he become more erratic, think the miss effected his game.
Cooper looked very solid last night. Really glad to see him back, he'll make a massive difference driving this team forward. Struijk also had a good game. We now have our first choice pairing back so don't see any concerns at CB.
Agree about Rutter, he is moving up a gear and the quality is starting to show. Summerville put in a shift, James didnt. And neither of the full backs got into the game.
Summerville at least had 3 shots so try him in middle?
We've got 7 wingers in squad!
Tin hat time but what has Gnonto done for us apart from his first month and a great cross for Bamford for a goal towards the end of the season? Should have got 25m for him and spent on a creative Pablo type.... not hindsight as he doesn't want to be here playing against Dull on a wet Tuesday night.
He'll be gone in January and if he doesn't perform we'll get 10m for him. I know he's being doubled up on and fouled but would leave a lot of space for someone with a creative touch....
Good start overall and another clean sheet.... can't see another clean sheet Saturday with Ayling, Coops, Strukij at back though with maybe Shacks
Yeah, 2 rather soft yellow cards, for the second little or no intent & not a lot of contact either (bloke made a meal of it). First yellow was hardly a foul.
It looked like this ref had to make up for the lack of yellows at the Den.
Got lucky late on with them hitting the post.
So all in all a decent point.
Despite mistakes creaping in our play, the lads certainly put in the hard work after going down to 10men.
The red card obviously change the dynamics of this game.
We'll miss Rodon's pace next game.
Piroe had a very quiet game, Rutter was more involved but became more & more erratic.
Not sure what Anthony was supposed to bring/do, but it looked like he & Coops were always a step too late.
Quality MDT Mouseman and good luck for a prolonged run.... great run so far 👍⚽👏
Another game similar to Millscum, where Dull have a crap team with no big name players, but if they work hard they could stifle us and make us have to break them down.... like we have to at home.
I'm going for a positive 2-0 victory with yet another Piroe brace and he'll soon be called up for England....
so whats hull famouse for ? the starting place of the english civel war the birthplace of william wilberforce aviatrix amy johnson and her illigitamate son douglas barder cream coloured postboxs and of course the stupid chant mauled by the tiger
Well who would have thought it another point and a top 10 league position
Happy with a point. Thank you Steve........MOT
My take on the red card.

A point is okay.

No fkn replays on red button 🤬

disappointing red - not sure about the first yellow for sure.
B*ggered up the game.
3 clean sheets in a row is a fair effort though.
Slightly frustrating first half.
Rutter getting the yips, Piroe having the night off, Gnonto not fancying it.
We should still be good enough but I question james on the right and Summerville on the left - feels odd not to swap them.
Also wondering if Jaidon Anthony shouldn't have been the man to come on as a left winger.
Still hopeful we'll find a moment in the second half....
Good luck Steve, 2-1 to The Mighty Whites💥🥊💛💙
Shacks in for Byram and James in for Summerville....
Why is it that EVERY manager seems to play some of our players after they've proved that they don't play well....
I suppose football is different these days and wingers have to do a job of tracking back as well....and James obviously does what he's told.
I'd rather them put all their energy into trying to beat their full backs.... we don't ask CBs to pop up in different positions.
If we had to rest Summerville then I'd have rather Anthony got his first start.... good luck James and prove us wrong.
Bench looking very strong though.... 👍👏
Generally of late, Leeds struggle to put back to back good performances together, I think we'll know what shape we are in after tonight's game.
Good Luck Steve.............MOT
I'm a bit glass half empty on this one. Can't see us winning by more than 4-0.
Good luck Steve. I can't see us not winning this.
Them 0 Super Leeds 3
Weather - Yes
Straight in the bath to get the fish smell off me afterwards.
Quality MDT Mouseman and good luck for a prolonged run.... great run so far 👍⚽👏

Another literary masterpiece - and long may it continue, you're doing a grand job 😎
I have faith again - we're looking handy. not quite so easy as last Sunday but a win nonetheless.
'Ull 1-2 Leeds

Famous fans was hard to find any but labour hard man Prescott and Omar sharife is all I could find
