Summerville scores twice and the transfer rumours are out again for him leaving in January.... 🤣
Unfortunately, for him, only Bournemouth, Bumley and Everton are in for him....
Hopefully he won't leave but if he did I hope he gets relegated with Bournemouth as we pass him going up.... with Sinesterra and Adams getting relegated as well!! 😜🤣
Bournemouth fans must be really happy with those 2 getting paid a fortune without kicking a ball in anger.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣
LeedsNewsNow is very slow today.... any transfer rumours for January yet? 🙈😜🤔😲
Heard (BS) rumours that Jaidon Anthony didn't want to come to us as part of the loan swap deal.... I'm sure that's people just stirring the pot.
If he didn't want to come then he didn't have to.... he's got a contract that both him and Bournemouth signed to be at the club.
He could have just stayed there if he wanted to.... he wasn't going to be threatened by them to leave!
I'm sure a loyalty sweetener figure was paid by Bournemouth and a signing on fee was paid by us to soften the deal....
good write up on Sinisterra & Anthony taken from Fb(LUFC fan zone)
Luis Sinisterra’s talent as a footballer is undoubted, but what is doubted is his capability to play a full, gruelling, 46 game Championship campaign.
After the dramatic turn of events last night it’s now impossible to say, but as he started less than a third of Leeds’ Premier League games last season because of injury, I doubt it.
The manor of Sinisterra’s departure has somewhat overshadowed the arrival of Jaidon Anthony, who although might be an unknown quantity to most Leeds fans, has started 2 out of Bournemouth’s 3 opening Premier League fixtures.
Furthermore, the 23 year old started 38 games in Bournemouth’s promotion from the Championship the season before last, scoring 8 goals and providing 7 assists (featuring in every game that campaign).
Now the dust has settled, Anthony will be a valuable player for Leeds this season, and more importantly a player who wants to be at Elland Road for the Championship campaign.
is the loan window shut as well?
The most interesting about our loans out during this window is the following.
Koch wage off the budget and we get 500k
Llorente wage off the budget and we get 500k
Wober wage off the budget and we get 500k
Aarronson and Kristerson wages off the budget.
Dremah wage off the budget plus there is minimal loan fee.
Rodrigo wage of budget and we got 3.5m
Harrison wage off the budget.
Sinisterra wage off the budget.
Roca wage off the budget.
5.5m brought in sales and loans.
Apparently the wage savings is enough to cover the new players wages for the season and the fees we have paid.
This all means we are basically breaking even with out taking in to account parachute payments.
This Jaidon Anthony does look good.... albeit on his YouTube video that his agent probably posted! 🙈
He's VERY right footed from the left wing and CONSTANTLY cutting inside....
He'll need to be a hard worker though to get back and cover Shacks at LB!!
Won't Gnonto want to play on the left though....?
Happy enough, overall, I think....
However, without knowing the ins and outs of each deal, we could have got some of the following cheaply....
LB.... Manning or Bryan on frees
CB....Philips free
Attacking creative midfielders.... Chair 6m, Amiri (fkn lunatic) 5m
Winger/forward.... Paintsil 8m, Asante Thomas 3m, Solbakken 4m
We could have got 4 extra players for 10-15m if we'd have gone in earlier.... according to LeedsNewsNow!!
You get the gist of it though.... 🙈🤔🤬😜

I'm sure I've missed someone, but that's a 29 man setup and well balanced. We may want a little more quality but we have cover everywhere.
Had a strange feeling that one of Sinesterra or Gnonto would leave.
Not surprised it turned out to be Sinesterra, the clauses in his contract & threat of legal action seem to have forced the transfer.
Yes a very good player and as a player we'll miss his skill and creativity.
Felt he was holding back against Salford (hardly involved, bar his chance & shot against the post).
In general fairly happy with the window.
The number 10 position has not been filled (perhaps Jimmy will take that one), and by now we're used not selecting a natural LB.
We'll have to wait & see how good the last 3 signings will turn out to be.
At least we've got plenty of options on both wings.
Then there's Ampadu (much better than I expected) and the talented young Gray + the 2 new signings for midfield. The 2 players from Spurs add pace, heigth and experience and should be more than good enough at this level.
From the departed lot, from a footballing point I rated Adams, Harrison & SInesterra.
They decided & wanted something else (more money), not surprising really. There's little to no loyalty left in football.
Just look at how many players simply follow the money to the sandbox, and not only those looking for a final paycheck.
In part it also demonstrates what a bunch of egocentric/spineless group of players we had. No wonder they got us relegated, didn't worry them one bit because they knew they had a way out.
Back to the football now.
Struggling to see where the creativity is going to come from in this squad now.
In Farke We Trust, maybe - but Bielsa had Pablo.
Why do clubs leave it until the last day, or even the last hour, of the transfer window to sign players!?
For instance, it's being reported that us and Leicester were in for Ilias Chair from QPR for 6m but only on the last day and terms between the clubs and players couldn't be agreed and we ran out of time....
I've got a very leftfield and random idea for our top businessmen at our club.... start trying to sign other fkn players 3 months before when the transfer window actually fkn opens and we might have a fkn chance of getting the fkn deal over the fkn line in time!! 🤬
Out of all the deals this window this one is the one that has made my blood boil, it makes least sense! Why the loan... Why the buy clause? Absolutely disgraceful from the club and whoever sanctioned it., is not like we've got a stack of cash for him and We're owed an explanation!
For fooks sake! Why the fook would we let Sini go to fookin Bournemouth on loan with an option to purchase??!!!
I'm so fookin disappointed I cannot tell you!😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
And who on Earth is Jaidon Anthony?
I'm not sure we've had the better of the last two days.
At least Helder Costa is still with us.
Deal sheet is in. This could still go through but still in the balance - Bournemouth have till 12:00 but the deal sheet means they, us and the player have agreed.
I guess I'll find out tomorrow cos it's bedtime.
11:00 strikes
no Sinisterra announcement forthcoming
It's all down to whether a deal sheet has gone in to give Bournemouth an extension......
Not sure if Swansea have got Gyabi?
I know the Valenciennes offer and the Fleetwood loan fell through but no word either way on Swans late offer.....
Just back from a long day out.....
still waiting for the final bell to ring at 11:00 but I fear that Sinisterra is still at risk of leaving us - even rumours of legal bits giving Bournemouth an extension to get it finished if required.... not happy that a loan release has emerged after all we were led to believe.
Gnonto staying, Summerville staying, Meslier staying - all good.
Slightly disappointed LB and No10 not nailed - looking a bit too late for the likes of Chair or O'Riley, but the fat lady ain't sung yet
