But Koch & Bamford still not available this weekend, Ayling is 50/50 at best to feature i suspect but on a brighter side Kalvin, Fripo & Rahpa may make an impact against Norwich.
Just thinking about Bill, Paddy, Rapha, Rodders, Shacks all out at present, we had to resort to Gelhardt and brought on McKinstry (after tyler biting my lip) at spuds yesterday??
While we have all been crying at Marcelo to give the young lads a chance when the cameras showed Andy Gray's grandson a 15 year old on the bench surly that has to ring alarm bells in radz / orta heads, no matter what MB thinks about preferring to work with small squads??
The longer Bamford stays out of the first team the harder it will be to get back to hitting the "km's ran" that we have all been accustomed to and to which alot of MB's "first line of defense" depends on.
Im not looking for the panic button just yet but we need at least 10-12 points out of a possible 24 before the new year turns (and that includes 4 games playing chelscum, arsewipes, loserpool & sh*tty), a tall order, but if not we will constantly be looking over our shoulder or worse looking up at teams trying to catch them or hoping for them to fck up. (bit early in the season to be clutching at straws)
Ayling and Koch were featured in the fitness room/gym last week on LUTV. MB will want them to play 45 mins in the U23s before stepping up so will not be in the starting 11 v Spuds. Ayling should be OK for Brighton and Koch the week after v Palace.
Rumours Firpo has broken down again but even so, he has been out for a long time so MB unlikely to risk him without more minutes under his belt in the U23s. Dont expect him to start v Spuds but may be on the bench.
Baby Shacks though should be good to go after the international break as will Joffrey.
Bamford, I think it may be a metatarsal injury so he will need another 4 weeks + an additional 2 to get match fit with games in the U23s. Out til mid December IMO
MB may have to rethink his 18 first teams players + U23s to perhaps 21 players + U23s. With 9 places on the bench, this may be more sensible?
We could have done with 3 more experienced bodies being available yesterday.

Shame for Drameh he didn't get a run - if Ayling returns now.
On the plus side Ayling was looking tired at the start of the season (maybe carrying a knock) - maybe he'll be back to his best after a break?

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has been speaking to the media before Sunday's trip to Norwich.
Here are the key lines:
The Whites will welcome back winger Raphinha after a foot injury kept him out of the Carabao Cup defeat at Arsenal;
Junior Firpo and Jamie Shackleton are also available for selection;
Striker Patrick Bamford (ankle) and defender Luke Ayling (knee) miss out again. There is no scheduled date for them and Robin Koch (pubis) to return.
Koch Patrick and Luke should be back after next international break - end November
Shacks, Firpo, KP and Rafa should be available v Norwich.
Is Shackleton injured? Thought I'd seen somewhere he had a knock.
