That numbering is logical, but in the English game the RB is 2, the LB is 3 then the 2 x CB are often 5 and 6.
4 is usually a holding midfielder (like Batty was for us), which is why the 4 vs 6 thing is a bit confusing!! BTW this season's No4 at Leeds is of course Ampadu
I see alot of Gruev dislike but I wonder how many noticed that in the last 2 games he has now had a few shots on goal and today shot just flash outside post. He has was in position few more time but cross did not come.
We are better of asking questions about how many crosses were actually delivered into the box, I do me just put in but actually delivered with a direct target...
Obviously not a satisfying game to watch. But three valuable points. Meanwhile, I think this from Graham Smyth is rather precise:
“This is not a team with the same individual brilliance as its 23/24 predecessor. This was Ramazani's first start. Solomon, whose quality at this level cannot be questioned, was missing. Ao Tanaka is yet to get a chance to show it, but the injection of a natural 8 into a midfield currently staffed by a pair of 6s will, you would think, add a bit more cutting edge.”
well I get the prediction of the week award of the Cardiff boss gets his marching orders, but that result and performance has not impressed me.
When you play bottom of the league with 10 men you really should be getting 4 or 5 goals and improving the GD. Not impressed at the moment - we must put a team to the sword pretty quickly to restore confidence and show the rest of this league what we're about. At the moment we look like a very poor mans' flat track bully.
Good luck Mouseman, it's about time we gave this bunch of sheep shaggers (apologies to any of our forum who are Welsh) a bloody good hiding. I have a 0-4 feeling in the bones!!
Can somebody explain this 4, 6, 8 and 10? is it right half, left half, inside right and inside left??

I would like DF to change it up a bit with subs, this is the type of game we concede a late goal out of nowhere.

Should be easy enough. 3-0 us. Good luck the one and only STM.
I couldn't care less what the weather will be like because I won't be there.
But if I had to have a complete guess that's based on nowt I'd say light drizzle, 15c.
Well stepped up Mouseman but far too much information about a team I put on a par and dislike as much as Millscum....
I'm going for a positive 2-1 victory with hopefully Joseph keeping his place and notching a brace....
Good Luck Stevie Boy ......................................MOT!!!
Excellent prose sir. You're in for a long unbeaten run I can feel it.
