Watched the game and the forward line was a rotational 3. Rutter did when needed play as a target man type, as did Joseph and Perkins. Basically it was very fluid. All 3 are leaps and bounds more skillful and more natural or instinctive in their goal scoring. Also their movement is sharper at least at this level.

Gyabi needs to be played in the first team. Think he could give you 50 to 60 excellent minutes as a DCM.

I doubt Gnonto will be with us next year, the super rich clubs are already scouting him out. I would loan Gelhaest rather than sell him, I still think he has a future at Leeds. Rodrigo won’t have more than another year in him and it’s hard to know whether Hattrick will stay fit.

Why should Leeds not be a top6 team next season? I honestly believe we have a very good team in the making. We definitely need a lot more stability at the back than we have right now, but that’s it this optimistic idiot thinks. So, on a scale from 1 to 10 (let’s say Haaland is 10) and with a lot of good players on the bench and/or yet to be fully ready, let’s go:

Meslier: 9 (best shot-stopper)

Kristensen: 7 (on a good day 8)

Cresswell: 7 (but soon 9)

Struijk: 8 (when selfconfident)

Wober: 8 (leader)

Adams: 9 (oozes class)

Aaronson: 9 (such a talent)

Rodrigo: 8 (or Greenwood)

Gnonto: 9 (unplayable)

Summerville: 8 (dribling skills)

Rutter: 9 (?)

I'm 100% in agreement with you on that assessment. Although, I think we are going to struggle to keep Gnonto. I would also add Gray to that list. And I think Sinisterra has a great engine which we've yet to see. Just wait till Giabi starts getting games.
