Even with several good players injured, we had really good players on the bench. Just read that we sold/loaned out 18 players and "only" got 9 in, which makes it even more admirable that we look more robust than we have the last many years - and with a lot of individual quality in both defence, midfield, and attack. Well done, so far, DF! MOT
Fair is fair - any other manager with 4 games to save a club from relegation would have avoided Rutter last season - he was totally lacking match practice, confidence was shot and he didn't have anything to offer back then in such a short term mission.
We are starting to see the real player because he's been backed all the way through pre-season and now had 8 league games - Farke has done great, but I couldn't use Rutter as a stick to beat Sam Allardyce.
And while I'm pissed on a high, does anyone remember Kettering v leeds friendly in 2002? I went and remember we were 3 down with 20mins to go and Milner came on and scored a hattrick and we drew....
Can't find anything online about our team etc and we had Kewell, Viduka, Smith, Bakke etc but can only find a programme to buy.
The boy is playing Kettering on Tuesday in the league and then again in fa cup on Saturday before getting Derby, Pompey etc.....how the mighty have fallen. I remember Gazza was in charge of them for about 3 games on the piss 15 yrs ago before getting sacked 🙈🤣🍻
ALL of our subs getting involved in the celebrations for Piroe goal and look more than happy.... great to see and well done Farke as it looks a great TEAM spirit 👍👏
I'm genuinely confident now. We have a manager who has properly stabilised the ship, the results and solidity are coming.
I still think we'll have to settle for the playoffs this season, but I don't worry about the table, I know we're good enough to win any game in this league. Nice to feel good about the whole setup for the first time in 3 years.
And goddamit I can't wait for the next literary feast from our Mouseman.
We have very quick and mobile forwards who are able to beat a man. How do we keep getting refs that are happy to watch them get chopped down repeatedly and not book them.
True, and then Rutter got booked for trying to prevent a free kick being taken quickly (I'm alright with that but people get away with hacking people down).
Strong first half from us there. Totally in control and should really be 2-0 ahead.
The front four are causing some real problems. James went looking for a penalty when he had the chance to just put his foot through the ball and have a shot on goal. If he'd just tried to shoot I'm pretty sure the contact would have then meant he got a penalty.
We look very comfy at the back, they have caused us no problems at all. We need to start the second half in the same way and give them nothing to make them think they can get something out of this game.
Carry on as we have been and we'll be taking the points.
It's potentially a strong XI. We will finally get a chance to see if Kamara can make a difference or not. Subs bench is also pretty decent. Could see Poveda and Anthony coming in for the last half hour. I'd also like to see Joseph get game play at some point.
We will really miss Rodon, and not sure Creswell is ready to play yet despite playing for Millscum last year. Not lookingforward to it at all, but then I never am
Me and my wife had a great weekend staying at Andy's house over the weekend.
what great hospitality it was from Andy and Sue. The only thing that was overshadowed was that Andy's dad passed away early Monday morning

Great to see that you got to the game Iceman.... did you have a good weekend in Leeds?
You're our lucky mascot so hopefully you'll be over this weekend as well.... 👍⚽
My and Andy was on that game and what a game it was. We tottaly outplayed them
Well live to pen again 🤔
Is this the same Rutter that was invisible to fat Sam?

And seeing Ayling and Gray, who were dropped /rested, at the end of the game looking so happy with the result 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏
Wonder if I'll get the ride tonight to end a great day....
And Rutter looks like Messi for the assist for the 3rd! 👍👏
And for the 2nd goal in same corner! 👍👏

Thank you Steve......MOT

Well done Steve, keep it going.
To be honest we made heavy weather of it for nearly 70 minutes.
Great cross from James & dito finish from Piroe (who had otherwise had a fairly quiet game).
Solid debut from Kamara, not the quickest but playing sensible & keeping things simple.
Sam had an outstanding game & Shacks was good too.
CB's solid, but obviously it often showed that Pascal needed to turn onto his left foot.
Ampadu is such an important player, shows up when needed and reads the game so well.
Rutter switches between the utter brilliant moves to just plain stupid ones, think (I'm afraid) we'd better get used to it. Unpredictable is the word.
Jimmy unplayable at times. This I liked what we saw from Anthony.
Well deserved win...
good win.
I missed the match but saw the goals,Rutter looked like he played well.
How did Kamara play? ..

Another mix of missed chances and good saves from their keeper.
If only some had something close to half a footballing brain...
Coops ,Byram, Kamara & Summerville in for Ayling ,Rondon,Gray & Gnonto ..

2-1 to us with a late winner from Paddy
