I know many will question this but he is a decent player and one that would definitely have the opposition defenders running scared, as ours were when we played wolves.

Dont know what type of money would be involved but i see Barca are not taking the option to buy him after his loan spell over there, or should that be a warning flag for us?

Love Shacks and he's never let us down but has STILL never had a run in the team.... he's one of our fittest and fastest players in the squad as well.

No doubt we'll get linked to Kent again in some kind of swap deal!!

Phillips and Raphinha will be in demand, there will also be a few clubs looking at Meslier.

They are higher profile players on I would guess decent wages. We would have to take a hit on the fees but it would get them off the wage bill

I would think there will be a few clubs sniffing round them, ready to make a cut price bid.

Klich - good for a season in the Championship

James - nobody will pay what we did for him.

That would leave us with Firpo who we would probably all like to get rid of but I would be amazed if any clubs wanted him.

I could only hope that we keep hold of the youth players, who would be very handy in the Championship.

However we aren’t down yet and this may never happen.

It's going to be a horrible summer if the almost inevitable happens on Sunday. Plus it all has to be done quickly if we want to be set up for the start of the early start to the championship.

The really bad news in this that:

A) most of our better players will go

B) if there's any truth in it, they (Philips, Rapha, Bamford) have release clause at more or less half of what their true value is.

Makes me wonder even more why the board gambled with our future!?

Our turnover would drop with ± £100M (premiership money, tv-deals, sponsorship deals), + on top of that we would stand to lose serious money on outgoing transfer deals (Philips, Rapha, Bamford?, Meslier?,...).

Furthermore, we would probably need to find clubs for players like Firpo, Llorente, Koch, Rodrigo → and either let them go flimsy fees or get them out on loan and still pay half their wages.

It's a situation they've brought themselves into, no one else is to blame.

Strange way to prepare yourselves to become an established premiership side, never mind announcing expanding ER & European football over the next 3-5 years. First things first spring to mind.

Sadly I have no sense of humour on this. The reality is that these good (better) players WILL leave, all the clickbait sites do is try to suss out their new club.

Would have much preferred to see Clickbait items on Firpo, Klich, Roberts!!😂
