Experts, pundits and Leeds fans are saying that Aaronson had his best game for us yesterday!!
I'm sorry but for 25/30m a player needs to give us more than just running around, closing the opposition down and 'making space' for others to run into!!
He needs to be on the fkn ball more and dictate play! If we've paid this much money for a player who's supposedly doing the right thing now then why don't we just buy an Olympic marathon runner to constantly close down opposition defenders....
I really rated him when he first came here and he ran the game v Bayern a couple of seasons ago in the Champions League....
Roca is also not the answer and far too slow for the Premier. He plays 5/10yd balls sideways and backwards, like Declan fkn Rice, and people rave about how he keeps the game ticking over.... I could still do his job now at 56 with more passion and flair.
His only assist this season was a beautifully weighted pass for the Wolves player to cushion volley yesterday.... nobody has seemed to say what a useless fkn touch that was under no pressure!
It's the 'trendy' thing for 'experts' to say about these players as it looks like they know far more about players than laymen like us....
TC, I was one of those who said Aaronson & McKennie had better games.
In all honesty I have to agree, that giving the level of most of their performances, it certainly wasn't too difficult for them to improve upon.
Also giving their price tags, it's fair to expect more.
At least there was some improvement, albeit modest and Aaronson for example often continues to take the wrong option (in passing, dribbling & shooting). Roca's lack of pace/mobility is a problem at this level, but we've got others who have the same issues. His touch & awareness which led to the Wolves goal was very poor. But all in all (considering his qualities) he had a fairly decent game, have to admit had his position/place is one that we could/should improve on with ease.
The lack of pace across the back four also needs to be adressed in the future.
To be fair, he's still only 22, and is still having to adjust to the premiership. Some players like Adams fit in straight away, however the majority don't. It's taken until year 3 for Koch to come good. Rodrigo too needed time to aclimatise. Harrison took about 6-9 months. We are only staring to see Firpo's calibre in recent weeks. Others like Meslier and Gnonto got a run in the u23s/21s first. We really need to be much more patient, particularly with players coming from abroad - back them to succeed instead of undermining them.
Safe to say we rode our luck at times in this match. Having said that we have had plenty of games in the last 12 months where we haven’t got the points we deserved.
At 3-0 we should have been able to cruise and shut the game down. But that isn’t the way we like to do things.
Massive 3 points and at 3-2 I was convinced they were either going to equalise or take all 3 themselves.
Their penalty call in the first half was never a penalty in my eyes, but the comentators on the stream I had just banged on about it all game.
The lad who got subbed at half time that went through on Harrison I thought would have been harsh for a straight red, but he should have got a second yellow 5 mins later when he threw Bamford on the floor.
As for Adama moaning about his shirt being tugged, you could see that it didn’t stop his momentum or impede him, he just decided he wanted a free kick and stopped playing.
The ref had a tough game but handled it pretty well.
onwards and upwards, it’s nice to be out of the drop zone for the time being.
What a roller-coaster that was. Thank god they had a player sent off at 3-2, they were all over us before that and would probably have won.
I don't think we played particularly well today but who cares. Now we can relax for 2 weeks.
Great to see Rasmus get a goal and Ayling and his comedic celebration. I love Ayling, great character who gives his all all the time, even when things don't go his way.
Hate it when clubs take off players like Gnonto, and replacing with a defender to 'shore things up', when he's skinning them and 2 goals up.... we got to that position for a reason so fkn carry on!!
To totally contradict myself what a great substitution which instantly worked!!
Wober was excellent overall and Meslier made his usual couple of great saves....
Gnonto first touch is unbelievable and looking forward to seeing how he plays against England next week....
A good all round performance with the usual heart attacks.... well done Mouseman and look forward to being back in the relegation zone next time out v Arsenal 🙈😲🤬🎉👏
Great result today boys and a very important victory. Congratulations Steve👏Now let’s keep it going and finish 11th-12th, there should be some belief there now!
He runs about a lot, pulls defenders about, creates space and helps the coach see the opponent's plan - then you haul him off and get the right weapons off the bench to crack them open.
That's about the main and only reason I can think of.
Well I get to do another MDT who would have thought that

Nice one The Mouse.

Well done Steve, keep it going.
What crazy game, madness really.🤓
Had to walk away from the game for a bit.
LUFC seem to have a real intent on trying to kill some of it's fans.
Our club is a health risk and I'm somewhat considering to launch a formal complaint... Got to love it.
We were under the cosh for much of the first half.
Felt Ayling, certainly in the first half was struggling and Patrick hardly got involved.
McKennie & Aaroson both had good games. CB's were solid as per usual.
Gnonto, didn't agree with his subsition (the boy is always a threat) and within seconds I was proved wrong.
Liked how Kristensen performed (not only because of his goal).
Bill wasn't having the best of games (to put it mildly) but he did brilliantly to lose his marker and scored that vital second goal.
In general rode our luck at times but we deserved every bit of it (had been coming).
We also could/should have scored 2-3 more goals.
Boy, how we could use some real pace in our back four.
The club will probably have a lot more anxious moments in store for us.
Lots of football to be played but we've given ourselves a chance now.
Hopefully we've turned the corner.
FIngers crossed

I usually hate players kissing the badge but Ayling has earned the right.
I would get Firpo off,I can see him getting sent off on a booking up against Traore..
Don't let anybody else off Ayling again, he's a feckin legend.
1 nil Harrison,been all wolves,hanging on
Good luck Steve, 2-1 to The Mighty Whites….I hope??! Cummmmmmmmonnnnnnn💛💙

Meslier becomes youngest keeper to reach 100 PL appearances in PL history today ..
