Leeds striker, Patrick Bamford narrowly missed out on an England cap, according to manager, Gareth Southgate.
Southgate named his squad today and admitted that Bamford, Leeds' leading scorer was unlucky to miss out after a great season on the return to the Premiership for the Yorkshire side.
Ollie Watkins (Villa) pipped Bamford to the spot, but Southgate admitted that all of the qualities he likes in Watkins could be said about the Leeds front man.
Unlucky Patrick - keep doing what you are doing and your time will come!
