Somehow I'm still in the hotseat, even though we should've won by 3/4, but long may it continue....
Birmingham is known for being England's 4th biggest city after London, Leeds and Luton....
Cadbury chocolate is big here.... and HP Sauce and Typhoo Tea
Birmingham actually has more canals than Venice.... just a little dirtier
The tomato was invented nearby....
You were robed
just watched the highlights, looked like we deserved a point.
there wasn't much contact for the penalty but it was clumsy from James.
the clubs a mess first Dick Gnonto and now something happening with Sini and Perkins.
I don't blame Perkins if he wants to leave,he did great for the u23 last season, even scored a goal in the cup for the 1st team and didn't get a look in pre season games.just hope he's just going on loan.
only positive from this result is that it has to be obvious to the 49ers that we need signings immediately.
Farke said it would be a bumpy start to the season and he wasn't wrong ..
Pope's waiting for Farke's reaction/post match comments.
Word has it, that he's just made himself unavailable.😪
When I think about, what else could we expect with everything that has gone on.
Should have read the warning when our team decided to play in their nighties.
Awful, terrible, sad, league 1 level at best.
Last week I said (after being 2-0) that we would probably be allright and stay in the Championship.
After this shxt show, better be worried as fxck.
Yes it was that bad.
Last week against a poor Bardiff team, this Brum team was even worse.
This tells you everything we need to know.
This team is dead on its feet.
Some of the stand out performers today:
Ayling: Well passed it, on toast for the whole match, it was simply embarrassing!
James: Oh dear, apart from the give away pen, had forgotten how poor he is at decision making. He takes the wrong option each & every time. Why on earth has Farke told him to take free-kicks, corners? Incredibly poor.
If we don't get a number of decent players in very soon, we could well be eague 1 bound.
This team/squad is miles away from the team MB got promoted.
Devastated.
Second half, please see right up of first half but add Ayling crying like a baby at the referee for his own errors in judgement.
Povada should have come off at the 60 minute mark. Ayling as well.
My analysis of the first half:
First Half, I start this off.
Meslier passing seems to have improved but it is still way to slow meaning attacking team is able to close space easily.
RB Ayling starting position is way to high which means he is not a option when we are playing out from the back and also means he is Shackleton space leaving 1 defender to cover both.
Cresswell & Struijk passing to each other is behind them causing slow follow-up passing allowing defenders time to set.
Byrum starting position is good but is looking backwards first and so space gets closed but the time he looks forward.
Ampadu & Gray are to stationary when our CB's have the ball meaning defender do not have to move which in turn causes our out ball to be limited.
Shackleton has Ayling crowding his space meaning he is moving inside to try and open up space but I turn takes it away from Provada.
Provide is not finding any space between the line as Gelthardt is dropping way to deep.
James. Forgets he has jets and is not willing to just burn his guys down the touchline keeps wanting to cut in.
Gelthardt is dropping into midfield thus allowing the DCM to cover him, Provada and Shackleton. If he stay on 1 CB's shoulder our attack opens up.
That's the first half
Lets have a poll on this one:
Leeds have only put 8 players on the bench today - not even filled the bench.
Perkins didn't play for the U21's and isn't in the squad today.
Is Siisterra not in the team today?
Gnonto rumoured to have refused to travel for Brum game ..we are saying he's not for sale.
why do we always end up with self entitled tw@s??he Won't play because the mighty Everton want to sign him
Fine him 2 weeks wages for refusing to play and sell him, reinvest in players who want to be here ..
Good luck dude. I'm not too confident going in to this but you never know. Birmingham were 3-1 to win last week which seems big to me, not sure what they are now, I should have checked really.
We might get a draw, that is the best I can see I reckon.
The Steve the mouse curse may strike again though
3-0 brum
