All Leicester tonight
And scousers on Sunday😉
What a difference the table would be if Everton lose these two games before we play Palace next Monday night.
Imagine we could be 5 points ahead of lumturd's rabble and the same amount of games played (32) if this were to happen. I would hope BR would send out a strong team tonight as he will probably want to rest a few players before they take on Roma next week.
Half of me is wishing Burnley will pick up some points to pile a few nerves onto Fat Frank but the other half of me is wanting the bottom 3 to stay exactly where they are until they cant catch us...
If the FA had a choice to keep Everton up over Burnley we all know they will side with the blue side of liverpool.
Derby should have been deducted points last year which would have saved Wycombe but obviously Derby are the bigger club so the nettle didnt have to be grasped, it could be same here Everton wont be deducted points placing them below Burnley.
Crooked as fck the FA/EFL
Anyone know if the threat of a points deduction is still there for Everton...The last I heard was a couple of weeks ago, that the FA were waiting to see if Everton get relegated... is that still the case?
I think that the best outcome all round is for Burnley to either continue drawing or losing. Much as I would dearly love to see Fat Frank residing in the Championship, our survival is more important. Our remaining matches are:
Palace (Away)
Citeh (Home)
Arsenal (Away)
Chelsea (Home)
Brighton (Home)
Brentford (Away)
Now I'm no mystic Meg, but I even I don't see a great deal of points in any of them. Brighton & Brentford are the new bogey teams taking over from Cardiff & Sheff Utd. Our biggest hope may be to get something out of the Palace game, even a draw just to keep the scoreboard ticking over.
So as mentioned, forget about Everton and let's just hope that there isn't a Burnley resurgence!!
Fox’s 1-0
It makes no sense to want burnley to pick up points. I know some Leeds fans wanted Burnley to beat Everton ??
That is stupidity on a massive scale, It used to be called "cutting your nose off to spite your face"
If Burnley had lost that game we would be 11 points clear.
The bottom three are toast. Everton will be fine. And will Leeds, just need another three points to get us to 6 and safety. Roll on Crystal Palace, your day is coming.
