Now our men face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea is not on a good run so it is a fine time to meet them.
I see some improvement in our team. We need to be patient and keep calm
in front of the goal. I feel that the goals are coming for us.
we will get chances to score we just need to calm down a little bit
about Chelsea silva, Mendy, and Kante being out.
Connect with Iceland, Eiður Smári Guðjonsen the best-ever Icelandic football player
did play with them with Haselbank , and he did score a beautiful goal against us
(I hate when they play it on television) with a bicycle kick.
I did read somewhere ( i can not find the article)That our Manager has a very good
coach's winning percentage. more than most of the managers in the premier league
And remember all of you, we need to stay positive and support the team.
this is not a time for negative.
Everyone helping to send positive vibes to our team
We will win this 0-1
Sometimes I wonder why I go back and watch games a second time. This occasion it was lucky i did because it showed me my original thoughts and conclusion were correct.
1- our squad for this game had less then 500 games total first game time playing experience.
2- We had a 22 year-old goalkeeper, 21 year-old winger, 20 year-old striker, 22 year-old second striker/Attacking midfielder and 2 x 23 year-old central midfielders. Not mention our bench players to come on were 2 x 19 year-old strikers/winger and 20 year-old striker/Attacking midfielder.
3- Our two longest serving players that were in the starting lineup were the most wasteful in terms of giving the ball away.
4- Our passing has improved 100% Compared to Jeese days but are nowhere near acceptable standard for Premier league football.
5- Our squad is set up for long term success but short term extreme frustration.
Not saying what I'm posting here is 100% right, but wanted to offer another view:
It's a note in defence of some players who are getting pelted right now:
It looks very much to me that players are mentally swimming through fog right now - confidence is a massive thing and players who have played well in the past have shown they can do it - like Bamford 2 years ago - but right now can't find the confidence. Young players need stability around them to flourish and we have some foreign youngsters who need that more than ever.
It's too simple to look at players over a few bad weeks and say they are rubbish or bad signings - it's more the situation, the stress and the changes of style/management that are affecting them.
Now we have no more cup distractions or any more midweekers than any other club it is about making the game plan simple for the team and try to keep the selection settled.
Tyler Adams spoke about this before the game and I liked what he had to say. Cool heads, simple plans, calmness in the face of madness are our best bets now - pick and choose our battles.
Can somebody wake me up when this season is over.
So so so forgettable.
Thank christ Arsenal won, I'm just watching MOTD as I write this and even Bournemouth look better up front than us.
It's just going to be a dull battle to the end, and that is the best case scenario, the other scenario is that we are down by the end of April.
Harrison needs dropping, Rutter isn't ready, Aaronson isn't good enough, Bamford is broken.
The defence is looking more solid thankfully.
Brighton are going to beat us next week as will Wolves the week after.
Good morning everybody.
We are too good to go down. Or…? If we can’t score goals…. Getting nervous, here….
We end every team’s sh1t run. Fact!
Brighton won 4-0 v hammers today
Well that’s **** arsenal got us out off and hopefully the fox’s latter
Frustrating again. I don't want to moan but we spent a decent wedge over the new year and I feel like although we have to give Nutter time but...I don't think he is the answer, no confidence in front of goal and clumsy in one to one situations, beating no-one. As for Harrison!!! When will he get sat down for good. His crossing and delivery from dead ball defies belief is just so bad.
Another weekend down. Off to drown my sorrows
Not great at all, one shot on goal, not much possession, definitely second best today.
well we lose but we are on the right way.winning strike is coming mark my word
And there it is, the inevitable Chelsea goal.
Over run in midfield
What time do leeds start playing?
Avoid defeat.
Clean sheet.
Maybe willy off the bench 88th minute winner.
Weather grim
Beer grim
Stench grim
Good luck iceman on your second week of sixteen
Good Luck Iceman!!!
Good one iceman Chelsea as a team I reckon are cheating potter they don’t want him and are not playing at their best but dispite this the fans will want a win over us
1-1
Potter is our nemesis and I don't think that it will change today. Hopefully we can snatch a goal and get something out of this fixture. Come on Leeds!
Given the goal differences for the 3 below us, a hard earned point will not be a bad outcome, obviously a win would be great, especially as Forest play Everton tomorrow and therefore the pressure will be definately on them both!
i am telling you Garcia is turning our side to super team
