Come on AR, open your wallet in Jan!
Not sure if Saint, Bournemouth, Wolves of Forest have the money for big signings in Jan but they could get good loans.
We need to invest in proven players though - permanent and/or loans
It's not what you spend folks - it's the way that you spend it.
Gnonto
Perkins
Greenwood
Gelhardt
Meslier
Struijk
Adams
Aarondsen
I keep looking for any developments with ER - I was hoping the planning etc would be under way now so we could see the plan.
Guess many people and the above have not taken into count that we owe the German RedBull club 18.9m plus it is rumoured that there is interest that has accumulated that we are also order to pay. Also the court hearing fee must be added. Basically our spend will go up to the around 115m.
we've had similar threads before.
Net spend on promotion was £100M, so overall we've spent big money for a new PL club.
We only made a small profit in that first year because of COVID losses and we have all sorts of other risks/commitments, like potential JKA fees and the stadium development to fund.
There is absolutely no profit being taken by Radz or SF49ers - they are already putting more in overall than taking out.
It's an entirely understandable model to sell one or two each year for big profits to fund the next intake.
I don't expect a big splash in January, unless funds appear (like the JKA case is won or Harrison goes).
Next summer expect the likes of Meslier to go for a big profit, to fund incomings.
Organic growth after 17 years in the wilderness is the right approach. I remember Ridsale.
Well that’s not good
Perhaps AR and 49s will open their wallets in Jan?
