Anyone else thinking this 8 day gap between Brentford & Forest isnt good for us following our recent set of games (loss to BHA, Draw with Everton & Loss to Brentford)?
3 games where i think most of us would have expected to get more than one point out of albeit two of the games were away from ER.
Monday night (depending on results over the weekend) could see us in 15th place in the table, unlikely set of results for that to actually happen i grant ye that, but if Forest were to win could see them just one point off us, not a great position to be heading to OT on the 18th of September.
Our next 5 games (like all PL games) are very tricky, Forest, Manure, Villa, Palace Arsenal but with 3 at home we simply must win against Forest.
One thing Leeds United are known for in the last few years is not having a Plan B and just keep playing the same way, but with different personnel....
It's so trendy to play with just one striker through the middle and all teams tend to copy sides like Citeh.... however, they can do that because of the quality of their attacking midfielders and wingers.
Why not TRY an old school TWO up front with Bamford and Geldhart!? They'll help each other out with the press and in theory there should ALWAYS be one of them in the middle for crosses etc coming in....
I know that would mean we'd lose one of the holding midfield but why do we play 2 in front of the back 4 anyway.... let the opposition worry about US going forward!
I'm saying TRY it as we haven't won for 3 games v teams like Brighton, Everton and Brentwood!
By all means play 2 holding midfielders and 4 at the back against the top teams but we need to beat the 'lesser' teams!!
I would use Greenwood instead of Klich, who I think these days is far more effective for last 20/25 minutes. Don't know whether Luke is ready for 90 mins, but he definately must start. Sinisterra will probably last 60/65 and then unleash Harrison to run the legs off them.
