What a servant to the LUFC cause,
At 32 years of age i do think he isnt over the hill (may not last the full 90mins especially in a top flight league) but there is life in the not so old dog yet, a great addition to any squad imho.
He will be sadly missed by me and slowly but surely the promotion winning team/squad is breaking apart and scattering to the 4 corners of the world.
I wont forget the goal he scored against Stoke (Marcelos 1st game in charge) the performance that day against a team that were one of the favourite to win the Championship that day was absolutely fantastic.
Thank You Klich you will be remembered fondly at TA & ER
Good Luck Klichy
I wish you Happiness, Good Health and Good Fortune always.
You have given me many special memories starting with that goal v Stoke.
The accolades and tears are all deserved. Time for your new adventure.
All the best Klichy.
He epitomises the Bielsa era.
As we were walking away from the ground I was saying we should start him v Villa as was better than what we started with. Little did I know that as I was saying those wise words that Mr Klich was having a tearful farewell.
The next one I'll be gutted when he goes is Ayling, mad as a box of frogs and gives everything he has, another Bielsa boy.
Klich came good in 2019 after it looked like his future wasn't with us.
He did a great job in the Championship and was a useful squad player in the PL too.
He is entitled to a final hurrah and associated cash, the MLS sounds like a great final move for a good club servant.
All the best Mateusz
I remember going to a midweek home game v Fulham (?) (sure it was Chris Wood last game?) and getting autographs etc after the game. Klich wasn't getting in the squad then and he just walked past us fans behind with nobody even going over to him and he cut a really sad figure....
So glad he only went on loan and we didn't sell him! He really got our club and supporters and had a great stint in the end....
I actually think now is the time to go as he hasn't really done much in his few minutes off the bench apart from his undoubted workrate....
So glad I saw him score a last minute stunner v Elche and he'd only have been shooting from anywhere for us....!
Good luck Klich and you'll be great in the MLS for a couple of years....
