Right folks. We don't even know what league we'll be in BUT - already the rumours have begun
Clickbait Ins
HRH Kalvin Phillips returns
Coiahminhm Kelleher (GK) Liverpool
Richarlison (ST) Spuds
Clickbait Outs
Firpo off on a free
Joseph loan to Rangers
Tsimikas now being linked to us and would be a great signing....
Only problem with that is if Firpo goes, we need to spend 15-20m on him....if Firpo stays, we don't have to spend any money for that position.
Same as Solomon and we think he's our player but another 15m has to be spent on him!
Who'd have thought that spending 100m budget on potential signings would be great when it'll be fkn hard and maybe not enough!
Yeah 40m is far too much for Kelleher....
We could go leftfield and get Kaminski from my hometown club Luton who is leaving.... we'd probably get him for about 3m and he played in the Prem last season and looked quality.
That would save 30 odd mill to put towards a proven striker....
Supposedly Liverpoo want 40 million for Kelleher, that rules us out and he's not worth 40 million
Getting linked with Evann Guessand from Nice.25 million. Striker but can play on the wing.
He looks great on youtube,He could be the next Caleb Ekuban or Ramon Nunez!

This is my team for next season with the players we've been strongly linked to on the ever reliable LeedsNewsNow....
Sell Struijk, Wober, Aaronson and Meslier for 50m....
Release Guilavogui and Bamford....
Get Harrison back as won't cost us anything and turn him into a fkn LB!
Unfortunately send Rothwell back as no resale value....
Joseph, Chambers and Debayo to go on loan....
Kelleher
Rodon Balerdi Elvidi
Bogle Wiegle Firpo
James McAtee Solomon
Maeda
Subs:
Darlow Koufal Byram Ampadu Harrison Tanaka Gnonto Ramazani Piroe
3/4 more are needed on loan for squad places.
My subs to be rotated and rested and I know Ampadu will get me some stick ... and Struijk.
I know you'll all agree with me and this team will get us to mid table and pushing for Europe....
It's fkn hard only having 100m to spend!!
I would want Kalvin back. He’s a good lad, and if he should ever regain his self-confidence, it would have to be at Leeds. However, because he’s a very risky bet, for a switch to happen Man.City should let him go for quite little money to get him off their pay-roll, and he should take a sizeable cut in his salary. I would imagine Kalvin would want it, but greedy agents still might prevent it from happening.
I suspect that if the plan is to make the Solomon loan deal permanent, then to sweeten the price, we may see Strujik going the other way to Spuds. There have been numerous rumours that Spuds have had him on their radar, probably more if we did not get promoted, but with the hunt for a class CB well and truly on, it's possible that he may be difficult to fit into the team.
The other issue is how do we solve a problem like Aaronson?. He undoubtedly has an engine that generally keeps going and as made some telling contributions, even though sometimes the final touch/pass can go wayward. He has previously played in the Premiership, however, I think we would all agree that he is not a Premiership player that would be on the starting team sheet, but is he worth keeping as back up (would he even be happy to be in that role?) Assuming we finally get this star No 10, perhaps he could drop back into midfield, along side Tanaka/Gruev, and get the team going forward? Another conundrum for the hierarchy!
PSR really screws promoted teams,I watched a video on YT earlier, think it was team talk or talk sport with Simon Jordan(ex Palace chairman) so PL teams get to lose 105 million but newly promoted clubs can only lose 60 million so our budget could be really small before selling players plus we owe 21 mill in promotion bonuses.I think the Gray,Summerville & Rutter sales might be on this years psr as well as new sponsorship deals and naming rights(red bull Thorpe arch?).But on the plus side it sounds like say if we sign a player for 20 million on a 4 year deal we would spread it out 5 million a season(Chelski keep doing this with 8 year deals).or we say fook it like Florist and take a point deduction(we 'lived the dream' under Risdale once, hope we dont do it again)
Anyone know the ins & outs of PSR?Could a 60 million budget mean 12 x players for 20 million on 4 year contracts for example? All the promoted clubs spent 100 million last year so cant see our budget being 60 million
He sounds good and I'd take him without knowing anything about him....he's cheaper than Kelleher and I'd rather have the extra 15 odd million spent on a 20 goals striker to alleviate relegation straight away!
I'd keep Darlow as back up I did say he was quality and he's really steadied us....we don't have to panic as much as when Plug from the Bash Street Kids was facing a set piece
Latest goalkeeper rumour - Djordje Petrovic from Chelsea. Could be an astute target, still only 25, wouldn't be prohibitively expensive at c. £15m, and was the best rated goalkeeper in Europes top five leagues - apparently.
Turkish delight, 19 year old striker Kilicsoy being linked.
Get in there.... OP to be updated again shortly 😀
Goals are the main thing to get us points but I wouldn't fancy any of those names....maybe Ferguson as back up but that's fkn expensive back up!!
He hasn't done anything after his initial few months and only has potential....we need a proven goalscorer.
Sargent may be a better and cheaper gamble as back up....
I fear a cheap foreign striker will be bought in who will either score goals to push us to mid table dreaming of Europe or leave us battling relegation!
A new Hasselbaink firing in his first season is difficult to find....
So which is our most important position to fill. Some say the attacking midfield Number 10, others say goalkeeper. I think it's probably the CF as like many, I just don't see Piroe cutting it in the premiership. The horses and riders, I've seen are
Cameron Archer, age 23
Evan Ferguson, age 20
George Hirst, age 26 Troy Parrott, age 23 Josh , Sargent, age 27 James Vardy, age 38
Any others?amp
This position we really need get right. I think we can eliminate Vardy as a serious target. Aged 38, he didn't have his greatest season last year.
Josh Sargent - good championship player but finished behind Piroe in the goalscoring stakes, so no.
George Hirst, mmm, only the one season in the premiership scoring a grand total of 3 goals. He;'s good link up play, holds the ball up, brings others into the game and makes chances. But has mostly been used from the bench. He wouldn't cost much, maybe £5m but at his age, I'd have expected something better.
Troy Perrott has had one good season in the Eredivisie league, notching 12 goals in 24 league appearances as well as four times in eight starts in the Europa league. He therefore has some top flight experience though limited experience when at Spurs and only three goals in the championship. He's also scored for Republic of Irleand although is behind Ferguson in the queue. Perrott is regarded as a strong finisher and a knack of holding on to the ball. He could prove an inspired signing and c.£10m bid might seal his signature.
Evan Ferguson is built like a tank and has often been compared to Erling Haaland. He's strong, fast and good in the air - all the qualities a top striker needs. He's notched thirteen goals in the premiership, althoug has fallen down the pecking order at Brighton and not achieved much at West Ham. Is regarded as a future superstar. This one depends on the transfer fee. He has been valued as high as £65m, and his salary will be high. If he could be lured for under £30m, maybe, but not for the £45m frequently being quoted.
That leaves our mid season target, Cameron Archer. Three years older than Ferguson and often compared to Patrick Bamford, he's scored six premiership goals and a further 18 in the championship. He is know for his movement, ability to find space and shot selection. His weaknesses are being a bit lightweight and struggles to hold the ball. Farke has a good record working with this sort of player. Valued at c.£15m though, he's maybe the best value of the six strikers listed.
I've had another go at editing the OP....
Richarlison the latest clickbait in, Vardy yesterday - also rumours Joseph and Debayo get a loan to rangers.
I reckon there will be no end of Leeds-Rangers links over the next 2 months... maybe we should start a bingo game.
Marathe confirms Farke will be manager next season. No Mourinho, Ancelotti or Hoddle.

Tin hat time....they say never to go back.
I'd take Leif Davis and Chris Wood back....
Wood has one more season in him and proved he can score goals in the Prem. It doesn't matter that he left us as it was our fault that we didn't have the ambition for the Prem....not him!
Davis has proved he can make it in the Prem in a struggling team. He'd be a perfect fit for Firpo, if he leaves, as both are quality going forward and neither can fkn defend!
I suppose while we're buying old players, we may as well look at Summerville, Rutter and Archie!! 🙈🤣
2 names being linked to us on the ever reliable LeedsNewsNow are Jamie Vardy and Richarlison.... let's hope we don't get either!
Premier League legend Vardy won't cut it in the championship now let alone in the Prem....
I remember signing El Hadj Diouf and although we did take to him, after a bit, Richarlison is not the sort of player we want or need.
I love that other club's don't like us but I don't want them hating us for cnuts like him....
There's far better strikers out there who'd suit us....
Beckford has come out in defence of Farke on BBC Radio 5 Live, after assholes like Darren Bent (sh1t player and sh1t pundit) have spewed pure vomit across the media. I'm reading that pundits (the biggest waste of space in the Solar Systeim) and fans (utter fake news bollox) are mooting him to be sacked ahead of next season. Can't believe this is even being discussed. Feck chickbait and all who sail with her. Just how thick are these morons.
Hoddle now leads the betting at 2/1 to replace Farke and it's definitely something we should do....
Great football will be played with a back 3/5 but he'll change formation DURING the game....
Farke out.... Hoddle in
Clickbait departure
D Farke
Replacement J Mourinho
You couldn't make it up - except some clickbait site did and now it's in the Mirror and the Express....
No worries Smurf and you're entitled to your incorrect failings 🙈🤣
I genuinely hope I'm wrong as Firpo is UNBELIEVABLE going forward and if he's learnt how to defend, as your stats say, then we've got a quality LB on our hands 👍🙌
I'm willing to give him a chance....
Adam Pope has said we could need anything up to 8 new players but we should have the money in place because of adhering to our ppi, our books are straight and we have the massive backing of Red Bull and the 69ers.
I want the bucks spending as I'm 59 now and want to see some success in the 6th biggest stadium in the top division before I go!!
Hate having to slag a player after he's had a great season and played a massive part in us going oop....
However, it'll probably be circa 100k pw and he can't DEFEND!
He got away with it to an extent this season as team's sit back and hardly attack us....this won't happen next season and he will be constantly run at.
He was absolutely quality going forward though so play him as a fkn LWB to our strengths!
I'm not looking forward to seeing the likes of Salah, Elanga and virtually anyone running at him!
Julia Firpo has suggested her husband will sign a new contract with Leeds. Great news if true.
I really think Jobe Bellingham should be our number one target. He addresses both that number ten vacancy and AM. Best player in the championship and could be got for £20m.
Bellingham, Ramsdale, Tommy Abraham, Solomon and Wiegl would make me happy.
Thought there is a rumour we are in contact with Dutch player Sern Steijn and his club about possible move.
oooh crikey my ancient post also got approved at last!!
I'll update it with the Wiegl rumour
