Well here we are (again) and what odds would a man have got especially after Cooper was given a straight red for winning a tackle and leeds still had to play an entire second half against City last Saturday.
NOT ME I can honestly say that.
Next up Super Leeds play current PL Champions Liverpool at Elland Road on 19th April with KO being 8pm (on sky sports)
Leeds are unbeaten since early March (2 nil loss to West Ham) and despite having played Chelsea, Fulham, Sheff Utd & Man City we have secured 10 points out of a possible 12. Hoodoo of London was laid to rest, winning a local derby was secured and beating the champions elect with 10 men its like its all a dream and one that i dont want to wake up from but the bin-dippers whom themselves since that 1st weekend in March are also unbeaten in the PL winning there last 3 games. So yet another big ask of our players to try and get a point out of this one never mind all 3.
This will be the 119th game between these two Clubs and unfortunately we all know how these stats will look
Leeds won 28
Draws 30
Liverpool won 60
In the Premier League era
Played 25 times
Leeds won 6
Scoring 26 goals
Conceding 52 goals
Clean Sheets 4
Liverpool won 15
Scoring 52 goals
Conceding 26 goals
Clean Sheets 10
There have been 4 draws
Historically we have always seen goals in this fixture and looking back on the record books only one of these 25 premier league games has produced a 0-0 scoreline and that was back on the 12th April 1999 when 39,372 people were inside ER, and if im honest im not expecting a nil nil next Monday either.
In the Premier League
The last time Liverpool beat Leeds was the 4-3 game last September
Last time Liverpool beat Leeds in ER was October 2002
The last time Leeds beat Liverpool was a 2-1 victory in April 2001 (Ferdinand and Lee Bowyer)
Last time Leeds beat Liverpool in ER was that famous day in November 2000 the 4-3 win the day when Viduka scored all four
So what can we expect from next Monday nights game??? The season so far Leeds are 10th in the Table Liverpool are 6th, Leeds have won 14 Liverpool won 15, Leeds have drawn 3 Liverpool 7, Leeds have lost 14 Liverpool just 9. Leeds average goals scored per match stands at 1.58 compared to Liverpools 1.71. Leeds average goals conceded per match is also 1.58 to liverpool's 1.19. Both teams have kept 9 clean sheets and on average leeds create 1.55 chances per match where as Liverpool create 2. Leeds biggest win so far this season is 5-0 (WBA) Liverpool's biggest win was the 7 nil drubbing of Palace. and leeds worst defeat was that 6-2 drubbing versus the the filth but liverpool suffered a bigger defeat against vilescum when they lost 7-2

Team News too early at this stage liverpool must play Real Madrid on Wednesday night so that could determine a few things. Personally i cant see liverpool winning the CL this season think both City & Chelsea would beat them never mind any of the other teams from Europe so the reds need to focus on PL as the source of qualification for next year. Liverpool have 7 games in the PL left apart from Leeds & ManU the other 5 are definitely winnable (barcodes, saints, WBA, Burnley & Palace) but then again everyone would have thought liverpool would have beaten Fulham too and we all saw what happened that day. 15 points out of 21 should see Liverpool in the top 4 i cant see Chelsea winning 5 from there last 7 (4xlondon derbies, city, vila & leicester), West Ham have a great chance but will nerves get to them they have very winnable games for a team looking to be top 4 (newcastle, Burnley, BHA, Saints, WBA) so only thing to stop them i think will be themselves and While Leicester City next 4 games are also winnable there final 3 are real cup finals (manu, chelsea & spurs).
For us we should be taking things one step at a time, one game at a time. The players that played ever so well against City on Saturday (if available) should be handed the Jersey (except for Costa) not that he let us down just cause Harrison would have been playing only for the "loan player" rule but everyone else as a reward for all their heroic efforts against effectively 12 men (mariner you are the definition of a bellend) should hold their place .
I like to think we will try to take them on knowing that our CB's will contain their undoubted attacking strengths and TAA will fit into Harrison's pocket.
Pie Chart Time
Cheerio lads onwards and upwards

In all the euphoria and controversy of last night's game,I didn't realise until now that the point we got last night officially means we cannot be relegated.... as West Brom can only reach 45 points from their remaining games and we have 46 👍👍
Well done Leeds 👏
A well earned draw IMO,the weight of expectation was on Liverpool to win this game not us.... And yes they dominated the first half, but they didn't have that killer touch in front of goal.... we wore them down in the 2nd half, they just just couldn't handle our pace and energy levels in the end.... We could have nicked it 2-1 just like the City game, but we just didn't create enough chances for Bamford and our front 3 weren't really on their game if truth be told.... They should've had it wrapped up in the 1st half but didn't take their chances.... and allowed us back into the game when their energy levels dropped in the 2nd half... I thought Lioriente had another great game for us and Dallas worked hard as usual... I think it's fair to say that both defences were pretty solid on the night and 1-1 was a fair result in the end 👍
Well done Bull 👍
Well the age old saying "a game of two halves" this certainly was it.
We never got going in the 1st and the second we were far superior to liverpool it really shows how far this team has progressed from mid-table championship standard.
A draw was a fair result although we had a couple of chances to score a second or even a third in that second half. Liverpool sat that fraction deeper and those couple of paces allowed us that little bit more time on the ball and to get onto the front foot. They will be disappointed in dropping 2 points at the end but Kloop tbf to him did say a draw was the fair result.
Didnt like the way he came out with "leeds fans booing us and shouting at us" leeds fans didnt smash the window in yer team bus unlike what there fans done to Real Madrid's bus last week, isnt it easy how people forget things!!!!!!
But we march on together lads
on to the filth
Different team second half. Fully deserved the point and on balance of play could have been 3.
Bring on scum....MOT with Bull
First half we rode our luck and were second best. Couldn't deal with the high press from Pool. PB had a good chance, but he's first touch was too heavy and with it the chance had gone. Couple of players not involved at all.
Pool getting behind us on several occasions, as with their goal.
Second half, we vastly improved, Pool couldn't keep up their pressing and we started to move the ball quicker and more accurate.
Chances came (some sitters) and went, couldn't believe we scored from a corner, great delivery & good finish. Well deserved point.
Awful first half, different side in the second half.
The whole team in the first half was not playing like a team. We weren’t tracking back the Liverpool fullbacks, where a lot of their threat comes from. Paddy was isolated with Costa and Roberts back to their lightweight selves.
We shifted up a gear or two after half time, and replacing Costa with Poveda changed things massively on that flank. The Liverpool full back was pushed back into his own third and their back four was suddenly under pressure.
Paddy was unlucky and their keeper had to make a couple of important saves. Having said that Roberts should have scored with his chance.
Would have liked to have seen Geldhard instead of Pablo as he is the future.
Well done Bull, and now the big one at the weekend. Immortality beckons!
No Duke, it has to be a win for Bull to be a legend! It is Leeds v Greeds!
Only needs a draw and then he’ll be 90% legend, after that a EL spot
Congrats Bull
A win v ManPoo and you may be considered alongside the Iceman as a legend!
Poveda is under pressure every time he comes on because he knows he has to perform.... I'd love him to have a few consecutive starts but he will not get them ahead of Raphinha and Harrison. Surely he'd offer more than Roberts!?
If we can avoid defeat v Mancscum that'll be a quality 3 results from our hardest run of the season....
Well done Bull.... 👍👏
Good second quarter we deserved it
Great second half, and we could and maybe should have won it. Llorente and Struijk very strong; our full-backs struggled. Oh, and I think Poveda made a very good impression. MOT
Up your super league Liverpool.
Come on Leeds ffs
Our one saving grace is that for all their domination,Liverpool have only one goal to show for it... Now it will be interesting to see how Bielsa changes things up and whether our energy levels can overwhelm Liverpool in the closing stages.... I'm hopeful that we can take advantage of the fact they have not really looked like scoring apart from the odd moment we have switched off in defence.... 👍
Tepid performance so far. Def missing Raf and Paddy is back to his old tricks poor poor first touch.
Still it's as they say a game of 2 halves and hopefully the magician has the answer.
Frankly; they’ve been all over us, as we keep losing the ball when building up from our back four and midfield. Hopefully, the Magician can change this for the second half. MOT
Danny Mills is a complete ass. He says nothing that's worth listening to.
Am loving the messages on our t-shirts... 😁😁👍👍
Champions League; 'Earn it' 😊
In all of this, we should spare a thought for the players and coaching staff. They probably had no input to the decision making, but are contractually bound by the outcome. Let's not be too critical of them.
