Watching games from overseas in 2023/24 season.

It is going to be near impossible for a lot of fans from all over the world to watch live games of our club this season. For the past 10 days I have been searching for how to watch and it is going to be near impossible. The league rights to games viewing in Foreign countries is extremely poor and in some locations exclusive to platforms which only show 1 game a week. This season is going to be like it was in the early 2000's when news papers and dodgy internet articles is the only way to follow.

They are doing extended highlights and delayed replays of the full games.

No idea how delayed the broadcasts will be

Well if it is anything like last season then I am sh1t out of luck. LUTV is something the 49ers need to look into as it is beyond poor. At least for us around the world.

Shame that each club can not show a delayed telecast via their club platforms. I understand live telecast right but if the league are not showing all games via this contract then clubs should be allowed to.

On first thought it sounds like a logical and good idea, but then the old financial considerations come along and poke their size 11's in.......

How do you recompense the away team for the broadcast, who gets what?

The competition as a whole needs to benefit from broadcast revenue not just the 2 teams involved etc. after all the league is sponsored for its media exposure....

Then you've got the revenue gap that grows to a chasm between "big" clubs and not so big that makes competiton unfair

In Spain La Liga have been fighting this battle with Real Madrid and Barcelona for years to stop their league from being even more lopsided.

Is the SKY deal UK only? I'm not so clued up on the iffy streams, but is it possible to get SKY transmissions via T'interweb?

The Sky deal has seen them on sell the rights and for example here in Australia it was bein sport who bought it but they then traditionally will show 1 weekend championship game or maybe a league 1 or 2 game as well. Occasionally they will show a second. They use to be a extra channel on the foxtel network but as of the 1 July this year they went solo as platform again in Australia. They want 20 a month or 178 for the year but are yet to explain their up coming tv schedule on football.
