Not a surprise to any of us i know, this has been well flagged but Newcastle United confirmed that Steve Bruce has left his position as head coach by mutual consent.
I personally lost all respect for Newcastle after they sacked Chris Houghton when he got them promoted (his record as manager still stands well compared to other newcastle managers)
Not sure who will come in some are saying Paulo Fonseca is one of the favourites, but if newcastle dont get this signing right they may very well be in the Championship next season, something i'd love to see happen if im honest.
If Fonseca does come i think he will struggle simply by not knowing the english PL, if i was at the executive table id be looking to a proven manager that can say "ive beat the relegation battle".
Talk that the special one could go there again for me i dont think his "coaching" skills are best suited to a dogfight with players of a limited playing ability. JM may come in time but i cant see him improving whats currently in that dressing room and help them stay up.
If i was asked for a name that is currently not managing any team id be leaning towards Eddie Howe.
But with a stroke of luck they wont and they appoint a "big name" and still get relegated
