I can't believe Leeds United haven't got a Cricket thread - did you all forget who you were or something??
NOW.
Let me first say my knowledge of Cricket is extremely limited, tho as a teenager I did like to watch the test matches and Sunday games on grandstand, so I appreciate the pure theater of it for one and after my time in Golf (which I also knew almost next to nowt about then did THAT!!!), well I know it's a game of great intuition for a start. And that is why I am now starting to turn my attention to it because I believe I have an almost otherworldly level of intuition and Cricket interests me increasingly so.
I will watch a few tubes and perhaps even a few matches - the spin bowling fascinates me for instance, like how do you predict what the spin bowler is going to do next and how do you strike that ball to send it this way or that way with this trajectory (ooooh you know my bloods starting to warm up!!). Any comments about Cricket here please.
Teach me Cricket Yorkshire - some people tell me they are quite good at it the-knows - who better to cut my teeth in to Cricket with.

I 'imagine' I would very much agree with this Gentleman here, something tells me we have the same philosophy.

Northern Superchargers for me.
You really need to have played the game to appreciate the skills involved.
Red ball and White ball cricket have different needs and different pitches.
I can spend all day, every day watching a test match. Watching pace bowlers hit bouncers with intent, spin bowlers showing their craft. Batsmen fighting for their wicket. Nothing better.
Then you have 20 and 50 over cricket!!!
