So, I've jotted down below the next 5 games for ourselves and Burnley, who I think are the team we will be pitching against for 17th place. They are as follows:
LEEDS BURNLEY
Villa (H) Brentford (A)
Norwich (H) Man City (H)
Wolves (A) Norwich (A)
Saints (H) West Ham (A)
Watford (A) Wolves (H)
Provided we don't do anything stupid and based on the Leicester game, I cannot see that happening, I believe we will pick up more points than Burnley, based on the games above. Burnley still have a game in hand on us, but if we do well in these, that should negate that.
LUFC premier league survival will be on our next game i believe (home to norwich). Some people see this as a chance to kick start JM run of results to keep us in this league but from what i saw last night Norwich looked to fight back even at 2 down versus Chelski where as when we went 2 down you could clearly see the players wanted off the pitch. Its the ultimate 6 pointer a draw wont save either side and right now the only thing going for us is the home crowd but if they turn and we all heard the boos at HT then any advantage between the two sides swings over to Norwich because yes they are crap at defending but they have a goalscorer we don't. We lose against Norwich then effectively the goose is cooked and we will go down.
