I think we are all agreed that in the Prem, we cannot have our full backs playing like centre forwards in the opposing penalty areas. The thing is, that this type of marauding venturing up front is in the DNA of both Bogle and Firpo (assuming he is still around) so I think this could be a real cause for concern. We are effectively throwing away the rule book for the last 2 seasons and re-training again. Are both of them capable of being more disciplined? Honest answer is, I have no idea!!!

Have know idea but this came up before I could read the post
While not being a Farke fan, I beli3ve his offensive tactical approach with a true number 10 and faster ball movement could be effective in the Premier league. What is needed is better defensive organisational structure. The correct use of the DCM to provide cover that advanced left of right fullback. Closer line space between defenders and midfielders with stricter structure. Lastly, better team movement structure and space awareness.
I honestly dont know. Everyone said Biesla's tactics wouldnt work in the premiership and yet they did in the first season. We dont know until somebody tries to break the mould. That said Farke has already said hes going to adaapt his tactics differently for the premiership. If he played a back three as TC has consistently suggested, the marauding full backs could prove effective.
