Alfie McCalmont scored again today, there his 8th in 30 appearances and one heck of a goal. If all.The loanees, he's the one most likely to make the first team squad. He now offers cover for positions across the whole midfield. He will be like a new signing for us next season and fill the void left by Forshaw. Get in!

Dario out injured till end of the season shame he was doing well on loan
Robles
Rasmus Koch llorente wober
Tyler fatty
Sini rodders Jack
Aaronsen
No wonder we were relegated.
Not a patch on this year's eleven.
None of them welcome back ,(bar rodders) and none of them improve the team.
Orta wasted a lot of ££££
Luke Ayling, if you search back on here I said that his legs were gone but do decent job as a winger that did not have to track back.
On the weekend that is how he was played for boro and looked okay. See him getting a league 1 multi year deal for some club.
worth resurrecting this?
Aarondsen failing miserably at Union Berlin
Harrison doesn't want to come back
llorente no longer good enough to start at Roma as they improve under new management
Kristinsen injured now, but touch and go if he's good enough to be kit man at Roma
Roca was doing OK, but apparently now crocked
Sinisterra gone for a fee
Only Wober doing OK, but shown to be a two faced snake....
Anyone knows about the conditions in Rodon's loan contract with us? Do we have an option to buy? - and if not, how would our chances of keeping him next year be if we go up?
https://youtu.be/DvYjHDAfCgc?si=LRJYQsq3a8kaWMM7
Greenwood scored a great free kick to beat Leicester today, close to 30 yards out
Does anyone know if Boro have a buy clause in that loan deal? He's scoring well this season.4 goals in 12
My Luton season ticket holder mates love Cody Drameh and he looks far better offensively than Championship from clips on Football League show.... sets up goals etc and surely needs to be given a chance as we'll lose him in the summer
I was on Cody Drameh watch this evening as I watched Luton ease past a crap Bristol City side....
In the very first minute he tried to take on about 5 of their players in his own box, before losing it, instead of booting it clear.... 🙈😲
To be honest he hardly had any defending to do and had so much space in front of him to attack but just didn't do it enough or lost the ball....
I've said I'd like him to be given a chance ahead of Ayling and Rasmussen but not so sure now....
To totally contradict myself he put in the cross to assist the winner and a couple of other decent crosses as well....
Not Premier standard on THIS showing I'm afraid....
As you say TC, his stats are for L1. Looked good in the U23s but not so good when in the first team.
Needs far more playing time in a less pressurised environment to develop which ER would not have given him.
Just looking at Leif Davis stats and they are great.... albeit in League One.
He has 33apps this season with 2 goals and 9 assists 👏
He has also created the most chances in the division from LB!
2 ahead of midfielder Barry Bannon and a staggering THIRTY TWO ahead of the 3rd top chancer !! 👏
I must admit I didn't think he'd make it in the Prem though and will probably play against him in the Championship next season! 😲🤬
Typical fkn Leeds 😲🙈🤣
Did we get rid of Davis?
Cresswell and Hjelde are getting rage reviews by their respective managers - the pair plus Koch and Wober should serve us well for years to come. And Gelhardt too is also impressing at Sunderland.
Lewis Bate scored for Oxford today.
Cresswell played 90 mins in Millwall win
Gelhardt got subbed off in last few mins for Sunderland..
Well Charlie and James both scored last weekend
Pictures of Cresswell are good!
He's taken it like a proper English centre half :-)
Cresswell plays full 90 for Millwall but Baby Shacks only comes on in 86th minute
Tyler still out for OPR
Bate gets 74 mins for Oxford
Poveda not in Blackpool's squad
Jenkins gets 72 mins for Salford
Cresswell got a battering from Hull today and left him with a black eye and stitches.
Guess those Hull players must have thought they were playing rugby.
..
How will they fair this weekend?
McKinstry was Motherwell's player of the month. It's a mixed bag but some of the loanees have been big hits, some have done ok, and others have either not got the breaks or flattered to deceive.
Goes to show some of out kids are not up to it
Great summary BB.
Stuart McKinstry (Motherwell)
Stuart McKinstry scored his first two senior goals in October, netting against both Rangers and Aberdeen for Motherwell at Fir Park in the Scottish Premiership. He made the most appearances out of any of the Leeds United players on loan, featuring seven times, once in the Scottish League Cup and six times in the SPL.
Jamie Shackleton (Millwall)
The midfielder continues to be a mainstay in the Millwall side, having featured in 15 of their 17 matches so far. Five more of those came in October, with the Lions recording three wins against Bristol City, Watford and West Bromwich Albion and two defeats against Blackburn Rovers and Huddersfield Town. Millwall are currently two spots outside the Play-Offs in the Sky Bet Championship.
Tyler Roberts (Queens Park Rangers)
Roberts’ October got off to a great start as he scored in QPR’s 2-1 away victory against Bristol City, his first goal for the club. He then helped the R’s beat Sheffield United and Reading. Injury saw him miss victories over Cardiff City and Wigan Athletic and he returned in last week’s match against Birmingham City, but had to be withdrawn after 27 minutes. QPR currently sit in third place in the Sky Bet Championship.
Charlie Cresswell (Millwall)
The 20-year-old defender made three outings for Millwall in October. In total he has made 12 appearances, scoring three goals. In October he started in defeats against Blackburn Rovers and Huddersfield Town, whilst came off the bench to help Millwall beat West Bromwich Albion 2-1.
Lewis Bate (Oxford United)
Bate featured in Oxford’s first two games of October against Charlton Athletic in Sky Bet League One and Chelsea’s Under-21s in the Papa John’s Trophy. In the latter he was forced off with injury, but he returned last weekend to help Oxford beat Bolton Wanderers at the University of Bolton Stadium, with the midfielder providing two assists.
Mateusz Bogusz (UD Ibiza)
Making his return from injury, Poland Under-21 international Bogusz featured five times from the bench for UD Ibiza during October. His first match saw Ibiza defeat CD Lugo 3-2 and this was followed up with a 0-0 draw with UD Las Palmas. He was sent off against SD Eibar, but returned for matches against Levante and Bugos CF.
Hélder Costa (Al-Ittihad)
Costa made one start for Al-Ittihad during October, helping his side defeat Al-Wehda FC 1-0. Al-Ittihad currently sit third in the Saudi Pro League.
Dan James (Fulham)
James has made three starts and one substitute appearance for Fulham during October. In those games, Fulham defeated Aston Villa 3-0, drew with AFC Bournemouth 2-2 and lost to West Ham United and Newcastle United.
Ian Poveda (Blackpool)
The 22-year-old winger featured three times for Blackpool during the month of October in matches against Norwich City, Sunderland and Hull City, taking his total appearances for the season to seven. The Tangerines currently sit in 15th place in the Sky Bet Championship, having collected 22 points from their first 15 matches.
Jack Jenkins (Salford City)
The midfielder featured for Salford City in their penalty shootout Papa John’s Trophy victory over Rochdale, following a 2-2 draw in a local derby at the Crown Oil Arena.
.
Baby Shacks - Played whole game for Millwall this weekend and Charlie came on at Half Time
Poveda on the bench for Blackpool but did not get on. Tyler not even in the QPR squad. Not sure if he is injured again
Bate on the bench for Oxford but saw no minutes.
James could not play against us for Fulham.
.
Rumours Millwall boss Rowett could be poached, which could unsettle our lads there.
⚽
Not a good week for our boys. Tyler gets 79 mins and Shacks 2 mins.
James taken off at HT after an ineffective first 45.
No-one else got game time
another thread sinking in gummies crap
.
.
.
Charlie was only rested as was baby Shacks.
Now who will get game time this weekend?
.
Worryingly Charlie Cresswell was dropped completely from the Millwall squad last night and he wasn't injured according to Rowett, it was a selection choice.
He's been helping up front with 3 goals, but his defence isn't good enough apparently.
I hope he regains his form and his place soon.
Shacks an unused sub....
Move aside Douglas Bader with your three testicles - it's time for a new flyboy hero on this MB.
Guy Gibson and his spambusters equipped with their bump bombs
James started for Fulham and lasted 70 mins before being taken off
Baby Shacks stared and played the full 90 mins for Millall
Charlie started but got taken off after 68 mins
Poveda started for Blackpool but taken off after 69 mins
Tyler started and scored and managed to play the full game
Bate started for Oxford and lasted 63 mins
McKinstry, Costa, Bogusz and Jenkins I wont bother about as they will not be LUFC players after their loans complete
Roberts scored today!!!! Keep going Tyler!
Bump - Will post an update tomorrow after Millwall game
Daniel James- made his first appearance for Fulham. Came on for the final half an hour as Fulham lost 2-1 to Spurs.
Charlie Cresswell - Started on the bench, Came on at 48 minutes, before scoring his third goal of the season, and assisting Benik Afobe as Millwall beat Cardiff 2-0

.
Tyler Roberts- Started on the bench and on for the final half an hour as QPR were beaten 1-0 by Swansea.
Lewis Bate - Started and played 73 minutes for Oxford as they beat Burton 2-1
Ian Poveda - Made his first start for Blackpool their 1-0 away win at Huddersfield He had a great game according to reports
Helder Costa -Played the full 90 minutes as Al-Ittihad were held to a 0-0 draw at home to Ettifaq.
Jack Jenkins scored for Salford v Liverpool u21's in EFL
Company is the manager at Burnley. Gary Rowett is Millwall boss
CC & JS should improve under Vincent Company but with him only really getting to know the Championship maybe VC cant spend that much time on the training pitch with his squad. "if" it goes t*t$ up for Millw@nk they will revert to type and bring in someone that shuts up shop and play 5 at the back.
I worry CC and JS may not "improve" at this Club, despite them having a guy that knows how the game should be played and can pass on his experience in reading situations
Bate is showing that there may very well be a good player waiting to burst through the ranks.
Hope he continues to improve and develop for the rest of the season at Oxford.
Hull really blow hot and cold don't they, Burnt it up at the start of season got battered by a team well down the table a couple of weeks ago, went 3 nil up against Coventry on Saturday and battered again last night against QPR.
Note to ones self
Hull = A team to stay well clear of when doing a bet
Creswell and Shacks started for Millwall last night in 2-0 loss to Burnley, 73 mins and 83 mins respectively
Bate played the whole game for Oxford in 5-0 win over Orient in EFT Trophy and got an assist.
Jenkins also played whole game for Salford v Liverpool U21s in their 2-1 win and got a goal.
Roberts got on for QPR in 53rd minute in their 3-1 win over Hull.
Did Roberts play for QPR?
Looks like only Baby Shacks got a start this weekend. Got 85 mins
Cresswell and Bate unused subs
Bump to push the spam down a bit
Bate got 70 mins tonight v Palace in the League Cup
Shackleto came on after 70 mins for Millwall this weekend with Cresswell an unused sub.
Bate an unused sub for Oxford.
I do wonder whether Drameh will go out on loan. The squad still needs trimmed. Even without Cresswell, we have:
Kristensen/Ayling/Drameh
Koch/Llorente
Cooper/Struijk
Firpo/Dallas/Hjelde
Ten players covering four positions seems somewhat overkill, especially as most of our substitutions are usually the forwards and midfielders.
Still need to find clubs for McCalmont, Bogusz, Jenkins, Poveda and Temenuzkhov.
bump
Luke could be back before the window closes. Will Drameh go out on loan again?
Cresswell, Shacks, Roberts and Bate all got minutes last weekend
Let them make their mistakes whilst out on loan.
Was only their second game and they will learn.
Both played the full 90 which is great for us
Back to earth with a bump. Millwall today…. Cresswell blooper led to a goal and Shackleton error led to a Blades pen.
Cresswell topping the Millwall player ratings on most of the review sites. Shackleton also getting respectable 7 out of 10 scores.
Cresswell 2 goals and a clean sheet on his Millwall debut.
Shackleton started & played 76
It's by no means a certainty we'll be in the Championship next season.
Drameh should start the next season as first choice. Ayling can fight him for it.
Shackleton needs to start beside Phillips now.
Joffy and Greenwood need to partner each other now.
McCalmont needs a crack at centre attacking midfield which is Rodrigo role now as this is his best position. Boguez also would be perfect there.
Forgot totally on McCalmont smurf but not exactly ripping up trees with Morecambe and yes at 21 should be ahead of Cody but i think Drameh at Cardiff in the championship is better suited to make the jump up to the PL. And make no mistake about it there is a massive step up especially when these guys must curtail the likes of Sterling, Salah, Mane, Riyad Mahrez, Saïd Benrahma, Lucas Moura, Buendia, Saint-Maximin, Harvey Barnes, Sarr, Wilfried Zaha and of course not forgetting Phil Foden. These guys only need one chance or 1 yard of space to make things happen and if our wing backs cant hold them then its good night Irene.
Drameh can play LB as well. He fits the mould of the perfect squad player. I agree Ayling will still be first choice RB, but Drameh should still get plenty of game time.
McCalmont is another who’s ready for premiership football. He’s done his loan apprenticeships, is oven ready for the Leeds first team and his now 22, going on 23.
Agreed Soopa but is Drameh honestly thinking that he will be 1st choice wing back with another PL team without a fight?
I assume he wants to play PL, ok playing regular in the championship is good for any young lad to learn his trade and better himself but its still the Championship and will never be a 1st choice PL wing back with any club unless he shows he has the temperament and ability in premier league games.
I honestly think "if" JM brings him back he will get a chance at PL games, but Luke Ayling wont just give it to him and we the fans wouldnt want that, i want Cody Drameh to fight for the jersey and make Ayling improve because without competition for a jersey a team is decline any team sport will show that.
Worth bearing in mind Leeds are hoping Ayling will sign another deal shortly. This is the dilemma for Drameh
Drameh seemingly was the best prospect at TA and with MB now gone maybe JM will bring him back into the fold when the season is over. Wouldnt want to sell him but likewise i think Ayling has life in those legs still and is best suited to wing back and left to fight for that slot and that slot only, the days that LA can "cover" at CB are over, young Charlie Cresswell put down a serious marker against wolves on friday night i thought, in a very difficult situation.
Apparently Cody Drameh has been excellent for Baadiff both defensively and attacking wise and he's good in the air.... their fans can't understand why he's not a regular Prem player already!
I think we have to play him in the starting X1 from the start of next season. That may be harsh on Ayling especially after his role in all 3 goals v Wolves!
We have to look to the future though and I reckon Drameh will leave us if he's not virtually guaranteed a place with us....
Tough decision either way!!
Bogusz I think is out for the season. Torn ACL
Based on Ayling performance against Everton we could with his return now.
Also based on Klich, Fotshaw performance we could also do with McCalmont and Boguez return as well
My valuation was based on what Chelsea got for U23 right backs like Lamptey.
He is probably worth 4 times that now though.
If we loan Drameh out to a Prem club next season and he does well then £12 million+ would not be out of the question.
It would be funny if that club was a newly promoted Fulham!
5Million BB?
We are PL now. If anyone wants a decent young lad that is more than capable of standing on his own two feet in the Championship then i'd be placing a 12-15million price tag on that player.
Gone are the days that our players are going away from ER for peanuts, mind you Dramha is far from being a comfortable championship player but come the end of the season and if he helps cardiff to pull away from the drop zone then as you say another loan spell next season could cement that experience.
But 12million minimum not a shilling less, English Championship is extremely competitive we of all Clubs should know this and value our players accordingly
Yup and Morisson keeps raving about him.
Hope he keeps his performances up but with Luke there with Baby Shacks and Dallas as cover, perhaps another loan beckons next season?
Cant see yet a club coming in for him with a bid of £5million+
Cody Drameh enjoyed a man of the match performance against Peterborough last night in Cardiffs 4-0 win where he's establishing himself as a fan favourite.
Preseason will determine what next season holds for these guys. Kane had loads of loans and was about to be sold to us before Sherwood, Spurs boss at the time pulled the plug. The rest is history.
This is true and feels like a missed opportunity, but this is business and the purpose of the academy is also to fund itself. For every Struijk or Phillips that gets into the first team, there's a Vieira or Clark that pays the bills.
McCalmont will have a value over £1M now and a Championship side may take him on loan with an option to buy for say £5M (like we did with Harrison).
It's not a bad thing - young players will come to Leeds in droves knowing they can make the first team if they're exceptional, but even if they don't the club will develop them and they can have a great career.
Welcome Smurf....
I thought Alfie was a holding midfielder before he went on loan but scored and created loads👏
The further we want to go, the harder it is to put them in the first team though.... I bet he's on a season long loan so we can't even give him the last 5 games to see what he is like!
We'll then go after 20m players in the summer and can't play him.... fkn catch 32
