City is at The Etihad. Of the next 4, 3 are away and Arsenal at home.
Chelsea, City, Arsenal then Liverpool on Boxing Day.
Not just Coops missing for those, but I fear Kalvin too.
Koch may come back just in time for the Arsenal game, but it looks like Dallas and Forshaw in DCM, Llorente and Pascal at CB, Ayling and Firpo as FBs, Bamford up top, Rafa on the right and James on the left. Not sure who gets the No.10 shirt. TR, Rodrigo or Klitch.
A point was the least we deserved but for those 10-15mins in the second half they were dreadful.
However if you follow another team you must look at leeds when playing us and think these are "beatable" no great shakes, not the team got promoted and certainly not playing the way they did last year.
Next up the dreaded block of 4 (chelski, pool, arsewipes, city) the way we have played recently one wouldn't give us a chance compared to way the 4 are playing, how and ever every game is different and when Bamford came on we had a focal point once again, now add to that his incessant closing down and desire we are a different team. Cooper will be out for a few weeks going by the way he very gingerly walked off yesterday, but Pascal will slot in CB ive no doubt.
Bill was a welcome return too and those minutes will stand to him come chelsea.
But it shouldn't be all doom and gloom, apart from the spuds and southampton games they are the only two games we have lost in the league since start of October, ok 13 points from a possible 27 but still our form from the last 8 games would have us 10th in the table and if you look at the last 6 games form table we would be 8th. Now i appreciate we must consider the quality of the opposition we have played recently but with players like Bill, Paddy coming back and Kalvin getting up to speed, we can look to some positives and hopefully a draw at SB would be a major boost to the squad. But sadly with Chelsea dropping points at the weekend Thomas Tuchel will be wanting a big reaction from his players so a very difficult task for us. But anything can happen remember last April set of fixtures and the doom merchants were out in force before hand!!!!
My gut and head has me thinking its going to be a difficult couple of weeks but one positive result can lead to another and who knows maybe come the Burnley game we will have alot more points than what we expect.
Just back darn sarth after the game and credit where credit is due.... Roberts had a GOOD game!! 👏👏
Not outstanding, not brilliant, not world class, just MILES better than the usual dross he gives us....
One game doesn't make a swallow in summer tweet and playfully forage the hedges whilst looking for a partner to build a family with....
They also have to be very careful of foxes and larger birds and also poachers in the Devon and Norfolk areas....
He has to build on this....i must admit he's a bit unlucky as surely he'll be back as sub as Hattrick is back.
Still, it's Roberts' fault for underperforming in LITERALLY 97 games out of his 100 apps.... if you can still remember the teams he has played well against then that is no good. (WBA, Hull and Brentwood).... Not the best of teams for your cv of good games anyway.
Thought Ayling was rusty....
Firpo got forward well but was never at any speed to be playing free flowing one two's.... it was all too tight.
Raphinha was in and out but we have to keep giving it to him because he is the only one likely to create.... his workrate and willingness to CONSTANTLY get the ball back in play for throw ons and free kicks etc was unbelievable 👏👏👏👏
Our defence was very much untested apart from the mad 5mins when the cheating, playacting, time wasting opposition scored 2 fkn goals.... fair play to Pontus and he seemed to get on with things straight away 👏👏
I still say we had a poor team out and at times we had Ayling and Dallas as 2 of our CBs.... not fkn good enough and luckily we were playing a crap Brentwood.
Didn't see Klich touch the ball....
Forshaw is FULL of running but offers very little in terms of creativity.... very trendy to say what a great game a player has in that unsung position to make yourself sound like you know loads about football.
Good overall performance and I thought the atmosphere was great apart from 15mins after their 2 goals.... I'll bow down to your knowledge Lord Freezingballs as you go far more often.
We should have won that game and now face 4 toughies in a row before the Xmas games!!
If anyone gets a chance to sit in the furthest and highest Row Z, like me today, of the East Upper Stand, give it a go.... I've done it before but not since beating West Ham in the early millennium on New Year's Day to go top of the Prem. It's an UNBELIEVABLE view to see the whole pitch and the whole pattern of play and runs off the ball etc for a one off experience....
For all their time wasting & us scoring in injury time was justice - fair result - we weren’t as good as we were on Tuesday so happy enough with outcome today
Poor result, and a strangely poor atmosphere today.
The ref should have done more about their players feigning injury and wasting time. Ruined the game. Its supposed to be entertainment but not a pantomime. Their keeper went over to one of our players who was injured on the ground and then just from nowhere fell over himself, farcical behaviour, pathetic. Seems far worse in prem than championship.
It was a good team performance apart from 10 mins in the 2nd hald when they scored two. We looked in control, had just under 70% possession and great for Pat to bag the late goal.
Congrats Steve!!!
You could be the next Ice Ice Baby if you can keep your run going.
Hope Phillips’ injury is not serious. Even on his average days he’s so important, and their two goals came during the chaos created from his injury. Harrison and Klich are so out of confidence and/or form. Firpo and Roberts had their best performances thus far of the season. Good to have Ayling and Bamford back. A result against Arsenal, and one point in one of the away games with Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool is probably the most we can hope for, so it was important not to lose today. MOT
That was a great 45 minutes. Roberts is having a blinder and causing all manner of trouble. In fact the whole team is on fire and up for it. Raphinha is world class, and Firpo is enjoying his best game to date. Let's have some more please in the second half.
Guess Bamford still isn't match ready. I kind of expected that would be the case.
It'll be interesting to see who actually plays up front, James, Raphinha or Roberts. And whether we will play a back three or not, I suspect Phillips will be the third CB with Dallas and Forshaw in midfield.
Roberts is only 22 and is still.working on his . To put it in perspective, he is the same age as Phillips was when Biesla first arrived, and back then most of us thought Kelvin wasn't even championship standard.
This is true, but on the flip side how many appearances has he now made for us? He's got lots of experience relatively speaking and yesterday he showed lots of running, but he got caught in possession loads - he also didn't assist or score (for the umpteenth game in a row).
I like the fact Bielsa shows patience and haven't wanted to slate Roberts unduly, but I just can't see any improvement now on what he produced 2 years ago.
On the flip side Gelhardt has 3 years on Roberts, he's getting his exposure now and is already turning heads more than Roberts has ever done.
TC10 and i agree Roberts only stood out last night because the majority of the team were extremely poor.
For James, Forshaw (especially 2nd half), Dallas, and to a slightly lesser extent Cooper but not forgetting Mesilier were the only 5 that can hold their heads up.
We never looked like scoring, and if we were still there i doubt we would have scored but for a peno or an OG.
We should have been at least 2 down in the 2nd half alone and if we were could we really complain. CB missed header was a real let off and Mesilier quick reactions stopped a certain goal right on the line,
BUT 3 points we will take them but we cant afford to play / set up like that again otherwise the footballing Gods may not shine on us.
One last thing and its really plissing me off the amount of stupid tackles we make, ucking blatant ones in dangerous positions, let alone the soft yellow cards we are picking up, its going to haunt us i can guarantee ye that
Why should Roberts start? Because we won? We were effectively playing with 10 players.... probably 8 if I start on others!!
Roberts ran around which is the BARE MINIMUM any player should do at whatever standard. He won a couple of free kick which, again, he should do. He doesn't get in goalscoring positions apart from a very poor percentage. We have Geldhart, Greenwood, Rodrigo in the same position SURELY ahead of him!?
He hasn't created an assist or scored for ages.... including training!
Sorry, but this isn't kids youth football where we HAVE to give them a game because they've paid their subs....
I WANT Roberts to be a success with us because I support the team more than an individual.... he's unfortunately simply not up to the job!!
We have STILL got a very good team when everyone is fit and play the correct starting X1.... 3 quality signings sees us challenging for Europe!!
4 points from the last 2 fixtures or 5 points in November (4 games)
6 games in December and we all know about the the middle 4 games, can we pick up 7 points from these 6 games? i'm thinking we will need at least that maybe 8 to start to really pull away from 18th position. Come the new year we will be over half way through the season and to take some pressure off us (and pile it onto someone else) we will need to have 23-24 points at that stage.
A win on Sunday (hopefully with another clean sheet) and i think we will gain a bit more confidence for the Chelsea and City games.
Fingers crossed mouseman

Take a point I suppose.
Another very important point, and good performance.
We certainly deserved a point at the very least.
We need to get rid those injuries, because with KP on we we're cruising (sort of).
Roberts had a good game and took his goal very well (a bit of class that).
Hat off to him. Keep proving us wrong TR.
ER, been they're only just twice...
But strangely as with LUFC it just looks and feels like home.
That noise. Bonkers... Love it!!!
I thank you

Today showed we can get by in the absence of Cooper, we can get by in the absence of Phillips, but we can't do without both.

Anyone needs me I'm popping down to the heart clinic.

Very good goal, good cross from Raphinha, and the most unlikely goal scorer, but well taken by Roberts. MOT
T Y L E R.........
he's off the mark 😁
1- 0
GOAL and a beauty from Roberts!
Why change the whole team around instead of bringing on Cresswell?
Sad for Cooper. And quite strange that Cresswell was not introduced, but the Magician certainly never chooses the obvious.
Cooper off injured, Harrison on in his place.
P155ed off now 😡
Can't listen to Radio Leeds because the FM radio has died and there's no coverage anywhere else
Radio Leeds think it's 3-3-3-1 again
Ayling - Llorente - Cooper
Dallas - Phillips - Firpo
Raphinha - Forshaw - James
Roberts
Guess Bamford still isn't match ready. I kind of expected that would be the case.

Team News is in:
No Ivan Toney - positive COVID test!
Ayling starts alongside Llorente, Cooper and Firpo in defence
Phillips, Forshaw and Dallas play in Midfield, James and Rapha with ROBERTS up front
Bamford and Rodrigo on the bench - go figure.
Roberts is only 22 and is still.working on his . To put it in perspective, he is the same age as Phillips was when Biesla first arrived, and back then most of us thought Kelvin wasn't even championship standard.
