Sorry England fans, but all those three teams look destined for the semis - unless there is a bananaskin - and it still could happen. The one that’s hardest to predict is Brazil v Croatia which could go either way. I don’t see a great player in the Brazil team in the way that the other three favourites have. But Croatia have one in Modric, so my prediction is Argentina v Croatia and France v Portugal.
The team that can beat France is the team who will win this tournament.
Interesting call Steve - I thought Brazil were outstanding in the last round. I don't give Croatia a chance at all, that's the least likely to be a surprise to me. Each to their own 😀

World cup just hasn't been the same for me ( maybe because ROI ain't there) but Ive been watching WC since 78 only 6 for 74 plus we only had a black and white telly back then. Anyways watching Brazil tonight looked ok but the team that has impressed me the most has been USA. Really together and shouldn't have changed there system at HT in the Welsh game I think they could have went on to win that game 2 or 3 nil, but credit Wales once they got a sniff they clung on in and deserved a draw imo.
But of all games none could hold a candle to the Leeds Bournemouth game. My second time ever in ER and after a loss in my first visit to see those 4 goals if I die tonight I'm dying happy.
