Cannot see anyone willing to pay close to what Rutter cost us so hard to see him leaving. If management think there is a decent player in there somewhere, we are best off keeping him.

Seems there is interest in Djed Spence and Ao Tanake. Definitely need at least one fullback (ideally 2) and another midfielder (again 2 would be good to cover for injury, as I do not think Gyabi and Bate are at a good enough level)

If we do get Piroe and Amri I think we have a good chance of going straight back up. The more time goes by the better the team will be able to adopt Farke's tactics. I think he has been an excellent appointment allround. Doesn't matter who we sign if we don't have the right manager.

Amiri has turned us down. No suprise really, a 26 year old German international. Piroe would be very good but we will do well to get him because of other interest.

Seems that release clauses have expired so look likes Adams at least will stay and we are not obligated to sell Sinisterra.

If you look at the sums paid by the Arab league for older players it feels like we got shafted over Rodrigo - he is still a good player.

Losing half the team on loan and only getting around £3M for our leading scorer means very limited funds to replace the outgoing. Looks like we will get a fee for Adams but it is not like we are going to get a similar quality replacement. On the plus side our signings so far look very good but we only have 2 weeks to add sufficient depth to the squad. We may possibly do well in the loan market (we will probably have to for a realistic promotion push)

Not sure it is the medical team or the training/fitness regimen used to prepare playres. Prevention is better than cure. Under Bielsa I thought the players were physically pushed too far in training but we still seem to get a lot of injuries. A lot of professional athletes do things like yoga to help prevent injury, even rugby players.

I get the feeling we don't have much money in the kitty. Not helped by most outgoings being loan deals so not generating cash and our previous record signing only going for £3 million or so, and Koch basically leaving for free. I think a pre-schooler would have done a better job with contracts than Orta and Co

Think we need to try to get straight back up due to financial implications and it is also the best way to keep the most promising youngsters. If they are really good, PL clubs will be in for them otherwise. Definitely an opportunity to play some in the Championship but also need to rely on some experienced players. Forshaw can go because he cannot stay fit. New manager would have to make calls on who he wants to keep, assuming they are willing to stay.

Think Koch is carrying a knock

Think he is a good short term appointment. If he does not get the players fired up and organized no one will.

The more I hear about him the more I think he could be a good appointment. Time will tell, but if we do go down (quite likely) it will not be the fault of Gracia.

Prefer Benitez of the available options.

They could have got Corberan in if they would have offered him more than an 18 month contract. He still would have been the cheaper option they looked at and we would not be rudderless. I think he would have been a good fit and done a good job. The board probably thought he would just roll over at the chance to come back as manager.

Give Skubala a run of games. He seems to know what he is doing and knows the players. I think we did quite well in the two games against Man Poo.

Still, i would rather have Skubala in charge than Marsch. Jesse's tactics to me were inept.
